It was a very comfortable hotel. A little older and worn but still nice. The breakfast had a variety of delicious food offerings. The staff was helpful in providing information about the area. Close to train station and city sites.
The Jade Hotel is my favorite hotel in Geneva. It is where I have been staying for over 10 years. I highly recommend. Mr. Pedro da Silva, the General Manager is always there to be sure everything is smooth and classy. From the moment of check-in, you will feel welcome and relaxed. The breakfast is fantastic. The Zen garden is the place to be: relaxing and harmonious. The House Manager, Rosa, is always everywhere to assure that all runs perfectly. The Jade Hotel is a treasure.

main thing was that it was relatively new though far from train station. the tram is quite convenient though.
I've stayed in several Geneva hotels on business and this way by far my favorite. Reasonable value (by Geneva standards), clean, modern, friendly staff, small. Short walk to downtown, but this also makes it quieter than the hotels right around Gare Cornavin. I would definitely go back.
