Stayed for 3 nights in the hotel. The hotel is located in the center of the old town which is great! Breakfast was very good and had many options. The rooms were very clean and the bed was AMAZING!!! Serivce from the stuff was very good and helpful!
Great location. Right off the main tourist area in the Old Town. This is a well run hotel. Every staff member we interacted with was lovely, professional and good at their job. Our room was enormous. We were in the business class area, so I'm unsure how this relates to the other rooms in the hotel. Comfortable bed (on the softer side) Great bathroom, good wifi. Everything was great. The only downside, and it's not really a negative, is that the hotel had no life about it. The lobby and the bar were always quiet. I was told that the hotel was all booked, except for 4 rooms, so I don't know where everyone was, but it was rare to see other guests. Many people would regard this as a big plus. The breakfast was excellent. The staff in the restaurant were fantastic. An enormous choice, from cooked breakfast items, to cold meats and cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cereals. Too much choice, plus they offer to cook you something to order. Exceptionally well done. Highly recommended & great value for money.
This is hotel is just perfect. Excellent location to have a nice evening out. The rooms are very good and comfortable. Staff is very nice and helpfull. Breakfast was very good as well. Will go back here for sure.
Prior to arriving in Gdansk, I pulled several places to eat breakfast on the waterfront. Going out Sunday morning, nothing was open. We headed over to Dlugi Targ hoping to find something and that is when I remembered that the Radisson Blu was located there. They had a sign advertising a breakfast buffet so we figured we would check it out. The bar was 70 zloty. They also had a special for 39 zloty with an omelet, tea or coffee, smoothie, fruit salad, bread and butter. My husband got the breakfast bar and enjoyed everything he got off of it. I got the special. The omelet was a bit dry. The service was very good (they were very sweet and helpful!). The restaurant was comfortable: dark wood, beautiful wrought iron stairs, comfortable seats.
We stayed 2 nights in a Business Suite in the Radisson Blu located in the Old Town near the Waterfront Gate. The suite was spacious, quiet and well appointed. Breakfast had a fair selection of food options. There was a hot menu included as well. Bikes are available for rental. The hotel is off the Royal Way and easy walking distance to all the major tourist attractions of the Old Town. We also walked to the WWII museum which is a must see (15 Minutes) and the European Solidarity Centre (25 Minutes walk).
Me and my friend stayed in the hotel over a weekend. Everything was great. Nothing we could be unhappy about. It was lovely. Very good stay. The hotel is located in the old town and a lot of good restaurants near.
This hotel could not be more perfectly located - right in the heart of the Old Town and a stone’s throw from the water’s edge. And yet the rooms are quiet - a peaceful haven away from the busy streets of Old Gdansk. Our room on the 4th floor was very spacious with a big, comfortable bed. The bathroom was very luxurious and modern with fresh toiletries provided every day. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel as we thought both options were quite pricey, especially when there are lovely local cafes right on the doorstep providing good quality food at a fraction of the cost. Otherwise we thought the hotel offer d very good value for money.
Bed was hard and the pillows were good at first but after ten minutes they turnes into pancakes. Breakfast: cookes eggs were almost raw, and other eggs not too good. Staff very Nice and good size on rooms. For tourists they should have some english TV chanels, other then CNN.
The hotel is located in short distance to Dluga Street, Motlawa River and public transport. The room and the bathroom were a good size and extremely clean. Very friendly reception and housekeeping staff. We did not try the breakfast in the hotel as there is a variety of places to eat in the Old Town.
Wonderful hotel... Love it! Terrific location, great staff, nice room, priced as a good value. I will definitely return to the Radisson Blu Hotel Gdansk the next time that I am visiting this wonderful city.
