We loved that everything was within walking distance. We would have liked to have know where the lazy river was located because that was our favorite. Next year we will book at that hotel and request a balcony room!

Loved that the room had 3 queen beds (2 regular queens, 1 sofa queen). We had 2 adults and 5 kids (ages 5 months to 11 years) in the room and had plenty of space! Most places we would’ve had to get 2 connecting rooms, so that was a huge bonus. The weather wasn’t great, so we headed to the indoor park. A shuttle would pick us up and drop us off at the indoor park, outdoor park, and our hotel. We stayed up the hill from the main building, but had our own mini water park at that location too. Overall a super fun place. Mini fridge in the room so we saved money by bringing soda, milk, and cereal.

The signage for check in needs improvement. If you are staying in the upper location someone should let them know not to go to main area and wait to be told they have to check in at another location. Check-in was great once we got to the right place. The lady that helped us was not overly sweet, but she was straight to the point on this is how and where. She answered all our questions and through out our stay was sure to give us a big smile. Rooms were nice, not cleaned well, but nice. Considering I found a medication pill in the bathroom floor on arrival and not being paged when my rooms were ready I was a little frustrated. The overall appearance and comfort of room was good though. Restaurant staff was amazing for a.m. buffet in the stone lodge. They took amazing care of us and made it their priority to make sure we were good. Also the bartender the night before was a nice gentleman. Enjoyed his company and info. The indoor water park was so under staffed! I took the 3 year old to the little slides and watched children run over eachother until she actually fell off the steps during this situation from children cutting line and etc. I am not that parent far away I was at the bottom trying to wait for her, but wasn’t able because of the poor setup, instead had to run back and forth. Oh and don’t even think that the lifeguards working weren’t busting butt because they were!!! The stone hill lodge water park was perfect! The life guards and staff were amazing!

Not clean, black nats in room, roaches on baloney, food on floor when we enter the room, will not return

Water parks, shuttle, kids eat free! Nice weekend getaway with our child

I was very disappointed in the outdated condition of the rooms. The waterpark was small. The outdoor park was to open on Friday and Saturday but never opened. The waterpark is nothing like the pictures.

It was near everything, i enjoyed how the shuddle bus was always available.

The cost of food and drinks is a bit excessive, however they do offer a variety of options so that is nice. The property is well cared for and we always enjoy our stays there.

Ver clean and nice. The only criticism would be that on your hotel listing please emphasize that the stone hill lodge is not connected to the indoor water park and you will have to be shuttled down to the park. I was unaware of this and at first disappointed but overall satisfied bc the hotel at stone hill lodge was very nice.

Beds here were not good.. not a good night rest. The fact we had access to the indoor pool was a plus but completely over crowded because of such... Hotel should limit the amount of folks in the pool area. Floors to the hotel and in room were not clean.. food was decent. For the price of hotel.. plenty of others that had better conditions

The water park bathrooms needed cleaning, pretty nasty

Waste of money! What’s the point of staying at a water park hotel when the majority of the water park attractions are closed? My son was heartbroken and I felt like a disappointment as a parent.

Half the water parks are closed. Would of been nice to tell guests while booking. I'd understand if it was fall or winter but not in August. Had to change rooms because of it. Then the only outdoor park that was open for kids closed for maintenance. Still no communication to guests.

Great resort with soooo much to do. The pools and slides were great, plus the many activities for children. We’ll definitely be back!!

Our family enjoyed our time at the Wilderness. With a young family it's hard not to as they have three water parks, game rooms, and more. The room was good and the beds just okay. No free breakfast here... But this is a resort. There was a group of 1000 teenagers there while we were visiting which made for a lot of additional noise but they were pretty well behaved. Overall it was a good time and we'll be back.
