This was a very kid friendly place! The kids enjoyed the walk to what looked like a little pumpkin patch! Our favorite part was the pools. While they had amazing activities their beds were so hard and it was super cold! The blankets were so thin! Other than that everything was Amazing! Staff was amazing!

Pictures are VERY deceiving

We stayed at numerous hotels and a few resorts. This had to be the worst place ever! Disgusting bathroom, as you can see from the pictures, when we walked in. Dilapidated, run down, and not clean at all. I asked to clean the room and the desk told me it’s a $55 fee!!!? There was no restaurant on site, no access to drinking water and scarce amenities. They told me the pool was heated- not in any sense of the word. It was cold, period. On top of this, the “resort” has an infestation of Stink Bugs. Found myself standing on chairs trying to grab them on the ceilings and curtains. The towels were ripped, frayed and downright old! Would definitely not recommend this place! There are many options in the area, including the Hampton Inn where they actually serve you free breakfast.

4th birthday trip

Had a great variety of activities for everyone to do. It was the youngest 4th birthday trip and they gave her free s’more kits for the family which she absolutely loved, as did all the other kids.

They don’t offer housekeeping services, they do bring you towels in the am. They want you to load the dishwasher and take bag tour trash at the end of tour stay. The room was very outdated, definitely not worth the price for us. Would not stay here again.

This was our first stay and we will return when the grandchildren are traveling with us. They loved the eater parks and Firefly Cove. Great location!

We found bugs in our bed including a bedbug. They did change our rooms and had a exterminator come out. They said there was no active infestation yet my boyfriend had bites on him and we both found bugs on us. The staff was friendly and the location was nice. However the lack of care about the bugs and apparently they had to move another family due to similar issues we will not come back. I will also recommend doing research. I found on another travel site other cases of people finding bedbugs at this resort.

We were going to the TN AK game and we decided to stay in the mountains instead of getting a hotel in Knoxville. We stumbled across the resort at governors crossing and knew the kids would love it. Our 3 night stay was roughly the same cost as a decent Hampton inn/any other hotel chain that’s half decent. Very happy to have found governors crossing…our family got soooo much more enjoyment out of this trip than we would have staying in a hotel in Knoxville (the TN win didn’t hurt, either….GO VOLS!!! Our room was nice and clean, as were the common areas. The staff was friendly and helpful and the amenities (indoor and outdoor waterpark, little arcade and much more) exceeded our expectations. We’ll be back.
