This delightfully decorated and amply furnished log cabin is a great find. Time Away Cabin is conveniently located only minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge off of Wears Valley Rd. (Light #3). Surrounded by woods will make it a perfect setting for a romantic getaway or honeymoon. This cabin is also great for a family getaway.

The private bedroom offers you a king size log bed with a Roku TV, Jacuzzi tub and full bath. Step outside onto the screened in deck and relax in the hot tub.

The living room includes a queen sofa sleeper, 32' flat screen TV, with Roku, wireless internet, free local and long distance and gas fireplace.

Enjoy the screened in deck with rockers, air hockey/ping pong combo table.

Other amenities include a fully furnished kitchen, gas grill, washer and dryer.

Our cabin is only a short walk to the lake.

The cabin was clean you can tell the owner keep a pest management schedule- no spider webs, droppings, etc. we saw one big spider cricket in the bathroom the morning we were leaving, but those things just come in this time of the year. The bed slept great, and the jacuzzi was nice. We did not enjoy the deck. It was cramped and dark, and the rocking chairs were not comfortable ones, plus there really isn’t a great view here. The drive itself is fine, but there roads up to the cabin are definitely tight and winding. Overall, a good weekend trip for my husband and I. I don’t think I’d want to stay here with more that one other person though. It’s a pretty small cabin.

The cabin was very clean. I was initially skeptical about how clean the hot tub and jacuzzi would be, but the water in the hot tub was crystal clear and had an automatic chlorine dispenser floating in the water. The water from the jacuzzi jets was clean. We loved the privacy of the screened in porch. The cabin is small, but has everything you could need including washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and Perfect for Two!!!

My husband and I stayed here for a week for our honeymoon in Pigeon Forge. This was the absolute BEST and far better than any hotel. I WILL be recommending this to my friends and family. The first bit of the stay is the only reason I gave “location and neighborhood” 3 stars instead of 5 like all the other categories. But honestly it wasn’t even the owners who caused the issues directly. We came in after dark on the late side. Around 9pm. So some key markers like the “Time Away” marker on the cabin, or the gravel parking space right in the nook of a turn in the road, were not visible. We ended up having to call the owner, who was very friendly and helpful!!! Also the code locks were dead, so the owner helped us out with some keys. The roads leading to it also had some VERY sharp turns and they were very small. But we have never vacationed in the mountains before so maybe that’s normal. The front door also gets stuck very easily, so it takes some strength to open and close it. Other than that the stay was absolutely perfect! Very clean and comfortable. Easy directions for the tub jets and hot tub. Felt like we were tucked away from society while only a 15min drive from Pigeon Forge! 40mins from Gatlinburg. The kitchen had enough for me to make a couple simple meals, and the laundry was able to be cleaned as well! The AC was divine and the hot tub was amazing. Highly recommend this to any couples who want to stay here. Wonderful accommodations for an amazing price.
