We had a wonderful time, Hotel was great, clerk did an outstanding Job, thanks orbit, this was my first time using this and we will again.
Nice hotel. Carpets could have been cleaner. Nice beds.
No problems, easy check in and friendly staff. Breakfast was great room was clean. Parking was limited we couldnt park close to room.
Good location. Lots of places around to eat. Lots of attractions nearby. Very comfortable stay. Overall pleased.
Horrible not clean and everything in the room was worn out and dirty
I believe the staff really tries to make your stay as nice as possible, however there are too many problems with the rooms for them to do much. The room we stayed in had a slow running drain in the bathtub, which was reported the first time it was used but never fixed. The was a broken chair that I fell out of also reported twice. Since there were 2 people registered & only 2 chairs, one person had to sit on the bed. A problem that could have been solved by replacing the chair. The plaster around the window was cracked both under the window and on the ceiling above the window. The sink was cracked so that it looked dirty all the time even if the room had just been cleaned and the faucets leaked. The desk clerk told us that the maintainence man was out sick really just one man for a motel that large
Keep your doors locked and be aware of your surroundins
When I was there it was to tour Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and some of their distilleries. Checking in to the hotel was quick. When we walked into our room it was clean with plenty of towels and condiments. We had everything we needed like shampoo, soap, and they even provided make up remover packages. We would leave in the mornings and return at night but upon arrival I would notice the room was kept clean and our towels were refilled as well as the condiments that they provided. It was a really good experience for me and my husband their.
Waiting until the front desk guy wants to check me in.... abd pool to small for 100 guest at the same time.
Great location, close to restaurants, outlet mall, attraction.Just some basic improvement like carpets and light smell in room, update elevator. I would stay again
We booked a non-smoking room awhile back, but when we got to the hotel the room literally smelled of smoke and also some sort of cleanser that didn't mix well. We called the desk but were told there were no more rooms available. We have stayed at this location a number of times now and it works out great. However the parking lot gets completely filled and there is no regular parking available. The staff is usually helpful in trying to offer alternatives but I still scratch my head over a year later that many parking spots are blocked by a huge trailer in the middle of the lot that I cannot understand why it is there at all! If that trailer was moved to an appropriate place of the property it would greatly help out. Also this visit they were resurfacing the lot and kept the tar truck parked taking up 2 spaces (not that anyone would want to risk tar on their vehicle parking next to it). Over all it was OK, the clean up service neglected many days to leave new cups and a liner for the ice machine and most of our visit only one ice machine was functioning and it seemed to be always empty. Other than the stale smoke and cleaner smell the room was clean. The breakfast was the normal cold cereal, donuts bagel and a waffle machine. Most mornings the desk person was having to do double duty keeping it stocked. I felt bad for them as a full hotel should have at least a dedicated person keeping things stocked, trash dumped etc. in the breakfast area.
You could see the outside with the door closed, toilet was not fastened to the floor, rooms leave alot to be desired
The toilet was not fastened down to the floor, there was a crack around both doors, you could see daylight thru, desk front was falling off
It was okay, I liked that they had direct tv. There was plenty of towels. The floors had horrible stains in them.
This was a quick and easy hotel to get into. Needed a place to sleep before we hit the road to head home. Friendly staff and we'd stay again. Cheap too!
Very clean and quiet. Friendly staff. Easy to check in and out. Good parking well lit
Staff were awful! I called about early check in and, after looking up my name, was told to call back later. We arrived around noon and asked about early check in in person and were told that we could be accommodated in 30 minutes. We waited...an hour later the kid said he meant he could check us in half an hour early. The office reeked of incense so much so that we both nearly blacked out. Around 5 we called to ask about cancelling or rescheduling and what the penalties would be as I was feeling ill and the nasty, rude woman who answered the phone decided I wanted to cancel the entire reservation. After my husband called back to correct her error I was charged for 3 nights' stay. When we arrived back at the hotel the woman verbally attacked me and spoke me as if I were an imbecile because she did not comprehend the situation and felt she was God's gift to the weary traveler. We checked in for the one night and checked out early. The room was ok but my smoke-free reservation landed us in a room that smelled of smoke and was dimly lit. Basic ammenities like soap, shampoo and conditioner were missing. The shower peed water out in a slow trickle with scream of a steam engine leaving the station, was barely warm and would not turn off. We would have enjoyed Motel 6, Super 8 or any other discount chain far better.
It wasn't really nasty but to me they could do just a few small things to improve the cleanliness. The mirror was streaked and there was dirt in the corners and on the ceiling of the bathroom. jThere was trash under the bed and behind the dresser. But for the price the sheets and towels where clean the water was hot the cable worked and so did the wifi :) all of the things would only take a few more minutes per room but would greatly improve the overall experience.
i really enjoy that time we went over there for the trip. nice city nice place. i ll keep that memory in my head for a life time
Went down to stay with the grandkids stayed there once before. Very busy area for pigeon forge /gatlinburg. Hotel very good location a little older but they were painting and improving the out side maintenance. You can't beat the price I paid $39.99 and stayed 4 nights. Pool very very small and in the parking lot basically. We went to the outside communities pool that was in pigeon forge$2.50 a person and that was great. For the money this hotel is a good deal and continental breakfast is cereal waffle maker apples doughnuts and coffee juice and oatmeal! Not to bad.
