Once we finally got to go to the room.. It was smaller than my office and the musty smell was so overwhelming that we had to leave because it kicked my asthma into overdrive. We stopped by the front desk and told them the problem and we did not even get an apology. We get home two hours later and I realize I left my two small jackets hanging in the closet.. I called and no one had turned them in.. Funny to me we had paid for the room for two nights so.... while they cleaned the room up they didn't find my jackets??? When NO ONE else had been in the room.. Awful, horrible place.. My advise anyone to steer clear and find somewhere else to stay

We have stayed at Bluegreen's Mountain Loft Resort several times over the last 10+ years. They are a great staff and a great place to vacation. The property has been there a few years, and this year we stayed in newly renovated rooms. However, even in years past, the rooms were still nice prior to renovation. Beautiful landscape and property. Maintenance is prompt and efficient when called upon. We will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

We have stayed at Mountain Loft many times. This was our first time staying in a Chalet. We took our grown son, so we wanted more room. Actually, we had a LOT more room. We could have taken our grown daughter and her kids. We only used the two downstairs bedrooms. There is also a loft room with two twin beds and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The living area and kitchen are also nice. There is a TV in both downstairs bedrooms and in the living room (I did not notice in the upstairs room). All the rooms had good views. There are two balconies - one off the back bedroom and one off the dining room/living room.

Had a three bedroom townhouse. Great location and within two miles of downtown Gatlinburg. Had my daughter and three granddaughters with me and townhouse had plenty of space. Staff at Mountain Loft are a true reflection of the South, very gracious and welcoming. Show and activity tickets could be purchased on site. Very convenient.

I visited with my husband and we stayed in a 1 one bedroom for 7 days. The full kitchens were great, and there was more than enough room for the two of us. However, house keeping never visited during the week. We ended up washing our own sheets in the washer provided, but it's nice to have that done for you when on vacation. I'm not sure if you have to request house keeping, we were never told. Also, the clubhouse was more than a little disappointing. The pool was really small, and I had hoped there would be things to do within the resort. Thankfully, the resort is close enough to gatlinburg and pigeon forge that we were able to enjoy both during our stay. The only other downside is how extremely hard the beds were, don't expect to get a wonderful night's rest. Overall, the rooms were awesome as well as the views which is why I have 4 stars.

We stayed at Mountain Loft in June of 2014 as one of our first vacations as Bluegreen owners. To we were underwhelmed, would have been an understatement. They were in the midst of a huge remodel and after all the talk in the sales pitch about how frequently rooms are renovated, ours looked to be more than a decade old. This May, we took the gamble and stayed in a townhouse again. This time we were pleasantly surprised. The entire cabin had been updated and looked great. The staff was very friendly and the property looked great. We had such a great time that we upgraded our owner package at the Owner Update. Thanks for a quick weekend getaway.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom and I am now spoiled. Normally we stay in studios and never thought that we would need to stay in anything larger. But we've had the luxury of cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner, washing our clothes and its been awesome. The room is very nice, love the decor. It's been super quiet. I guess the only thing that I would change would be to have food available on property. We are right around the corner from things but sometimes the traffic is a bit crazy.

We stayed 11 nights. Staff are nice. Great discounts for guests/owners for shows etc. Apartment very clean and comfortable. As with all Bluegreen resorts, the full kitchen is well kitted out and easy to use. Lovely quiet resort in the mountains. Nice to walk around the resort each morning before the sun got too hot. Both pools are lovely. This is only a couple of miles from Gatlinburg town centre where there is lots to do and see. It is also only a few miles from Pigeon Forge for great shows, Dollywood etc.

My wife and I stayed in a 1 bedroom for a week through an Interval International exchange. It was on the 5th floor of a large building - had a great view of the GSMNP. Space was super clean and had everything we needed, dishes, dishwasher, washer/dryer, nice couch, really great King bed that was very comfortable and a large bathroom area (shower and tub are separate). We only wen to the pool/hot tub one time and it was OK. There are 2 other pool areas, but they were closed when we were there. We weren't planning swimming a lot, so this wasn't an issue for us. The actual check in staff were very helpful and friendly. They only negative experience we had is the check in staff send you to the concierge to get your parking pass. The lady gave me a paper to fill out which I assumed was for the parking pass, but it was actually to see if you qualify for a timeshare/ tour offer. My wife and I had to reject this offer several times before we could just get the parking pass. My advice is tone down the timeshare signup pressure. I'm not familiar with Bluegreen as this is our first stay a Bluegreen resort, so I can't comment on the wider program. Also, we received a call the day before checkin asking us to call back to discuss our reservation, I called back, but couldn't get through since I didn't have a Bluegreen numbers - again assuming this is related to their timeshare program.

My wife and I are Platinum BlueGreen owners and booked a three bedroom villa. We gave the main A unit to the couple that accompanied us, and we used the smaller B unit. However, the separating door was always open like a condo. Several things should be noted: there was no table lamp in the B unit. The same unit's bathroom has not been was quite apparent. Just because furniture might be changed doesn't mean that eveything is updated. The other couple noted that upstairs they could hear the exhaust fan from our bathroom below. As platinum owners, we have been to a number of BlueGreen properties and have stayed in the Presidential suites. Normally there is a notebook of sorts that give the rules, listings of churches, restaurants, etc. That was missing. We went to the Owners Review and gave a listing of things that needed correction. As premium owners when you get to registration, one should see one's names on the screen above the desk....sorry didn't happen. And there was no oral greeting that we were platinum owners...which we have had at other BG resorts. For some reason this time, there was a lack of customer that we didn't experience in previous stays.
