Can’t beat the price for a room with a patio on the river. Hotel is definitely old and could do for some deep cleaning, but it was perfect for my week there. Perfect for families, solo travelers, those looking to relax and those looking for things to do! Bathroom even has a heater and a heated mirror so it won’t fog up!

The location was very convenient. We did a lot of walking up and down the strip in Gatlinburg and didn't have to worry about parking. We saw the Ober tram as it went over the hotel every ten minutes, which was really cool.The staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable, but they had very small pillows, which was kind of weird. We had a balcony room and sitting out by the river, was so relaxing.

A very good stay. Near everything.

The motel was great. It was near everything, but enough off the main strip where loud noises from traffic weren’t heard. The staff was great and extremely helpful. The breakfast was adequate, but could’ve used more hot items. I would stay again. I did hav one problem, a large motorcycle group stayed on my last night, and they were extremely loud late at night. I can’t blame the staff for that though. Sometimes people need to learn consideration without being scolded for it. Overall, it was a very good stay

This was right on the river. I felt safe, as a single traveler. The room was clean. The front desk staff was always friendly. Breakfast area was clean. The location is perfect to be close enough to walk to the strip but just far enough away to have peace and quiet. I spent lot of time on the balcony, listening to the water and the geese would come by for a visit at least twice a day. I’ll definitely be back.

Girls Birthday Trip

I booked two rooms for me, my two daughters, daughter in law and a friend. A birthday trip for me and my two daughters. Great location. Loved balcony overseeing the river. Was able to see my first bear. Food area was just enough to get coffee and a little breakfast. Accommodations were good - clean and comfy. Easy access to Smokey Mountains. Also close to Pigeon Forge (Dolly Pardon Stampede) and Asheville where we visited Biltmore Estate. Will definitely stay here again.
