The house and view was great, they had everything a family needed and even had binoculars we could use in Yellowstone, very helpful for us since we didn't bring any.

The RockinY was so clean & comfy! It was the perfect distance to town & the Yellowstone gate. When we weren’t in the park, we enjoyed sitting outside in the breeze watching all the wildlife; elk, rabbits, bald eagles. The cabin was stocked with literally everything we needed! Thank you so much Tracy, for a wonderful stay! Insider tip: if you can, climb up into the top bunk & sleep with the window open, it’s heavenly!

Second time we have stayed here. Loved it so much we had to come back. The place is very clean. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen has everything (and more!) you need to make meals. Elk were in the yard one day during our stay. In the fall, they were there every day. Met the hosts this time- very nice people! The hot springs are about 5 minutes away, we went two different days and enjoyed the benefits of soaking in the springs. Liked that the north entrance to Yellowstone was just a short drive. The huckleberry gifts were greatly appreciated. Will definitely return again if in the area.

This place was perfect! The house had everything you needed and even a few extra bonuses: ice chest to pack lunches while traveling to the park, stream in the front yard, TONS of Elk roaming the property, and a beautiful view. If I ever visit again, I'm definitely staying here.

Rockin Y exceeded my expectations in several ways. First off, the cabin is larger and roomier than I expected from something that was classified as a cabin. In addition, the way the cabin is situated, you are not in one of a cluster of cabins on the same property. You are in your own building, on your own plot of land, with fences and shrubbery dividing you from your neighbors, just as if you were in your own home. That made a big difference in how relaxed and "away from it all" I felt. The cabin was also very nicely furnished, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Tracy and Yoshi were great hosts. They are both warm, friendly people. All their directions and instructions were clear, and all my messages were returned promptly. They even invited us to a breakfast at the local fire station. Having that opportunity to mingle with the local people made our stay in Gardiner just a little more special than it would have been otherwise. I couldn't have asked for more in my hosts.
