Hot Tub and Pool were great. Our condo overlooked the pool and Hot Tub but not good view of the beach. Unit was smaller than what the pictures showed but otherwise was well appointed and clean. Our stay was very enjoyable and would recommend to family and friends.

We did not meet the host. The company that manages the property communicated with us well and gave us good directions on location, entering property, rules and regs, leaving instructions. The condo was very well stocked with everything we could want for eating, sleeping, having fun at the beach. It was a beautiful complex with wonderful porches and views. Having a hot top and mildly heated swimming pool was wonderful for kids as the ocean was cold in Nov.

Mini vacation

It was okay. It was hard for the kids to have fun, the pool is rather small for the amount of people and rules were strict. You can’t have a radio and the complex had no radio. It’s hard to enjoy the 4th of July with no music.

Great place!

My husband and 2 teens stayed here. It was clean an VERY well stocked with any kitchen item you can ask for and lots of beach towels/chairs/beach toys. We specifically chose this place for the location. We did not want to have to walk across the busy road to get to the beach. This place was perfect!

Best location in Galveston

We loved this whole property. It was great traveling with two teens and a pre-teen. They loved having the pool, hot tub and direct access to the beach. We loved them not having to cross the busy road to access the beach. Property was wonderful. Great deck with great views. Lots of space and well stocked. Our only criticism would be the kitchen is overstocked on dishes and glasses and we needed more kitchen towels and washcloths. (We cooked in most days instead of going out.) Property could also use a deep cleaning. But overall WONDERFUL stay. And the Security at the building is amazing. We had an issue one night of folks in the apartment above us stomping around and moving furniture at 3 a.m. and the security guard promptly handled it and we had no more issues. Overall my family thought this was the best place to stay in all of Galveston!

Ocean retreat

This property has a beautiful view of palm trees, flowers and plants and the ocean. Two good size bedrooms and bathrooms, it’s comfortable and has all the necessities. Towels were left out for us and there are beach toys on the deck by the bedroom door.

This was our first time in Texas. My husband, myself, and our 3 children. The location is fantastic! It’s away from everything really, but it’s peaceful and private. Not having to cross a major intersection was also great! The unit was nice, the beds were very comfortable. Although on the first night my son had to change the bedsheets in the first bedroom, because there was sand on the sheets. The hot water can also take a minute to get hot. Other than things like that the unit was great! Very comfortable for my family. My actual issues were with the management company/host. I reached out asking for one extra hour to checkout

My Favorite Two Bedroom Unit

This was my first stay at Crab Crib and I can say I will always stay at Crab Crib from now on! The best 2 bedroom unit. You may not chose this one because it is located at the back of the "V" - but it has not only a view of the gulf waters but it is surrounded by palm trees and foliage for wonderful privacy. Crab Crib is the cutest unit with tons of beach decor! Clean clean - freshly painted, lovely furnishings, comfortable beds, mega stocked kitchen, full size stove and frig, good A/C, no broken blinds, stairway to garage/beach right outside the front door. But one of the reasons I chose Crab Crib is because of the patio!! High captains chairs - 2 sets - big table with chairs also. Biggest patio I have seen at Seascapes! You won't be disappointed! I will always book the Crab Crib!!

Enjoyable Stay

This condo was just adorable and we were amazed at all of the decorating details! The large balcony was great. Even though it’s located at the back of the complex, it was very convenient to the stairway down to the garage. The trees around the balcony also gave it a sense of privacy but you can still see the beach. My only suggestion would be to scale back on the dishes, glasses and serving utensils. It was way over stocked and I would’ve appreciated a little more cabinet space to store the groceries that I had brought down.

Amazing getaway

Location is fantastic. Beach is so close, clean and uncrowded. Also, the condo had several beach chairs we were able to use at the beach. Condo is decorated to feel like a beach getaway and laid out well. We were very comfortable with our 6 guests. The condo could have been cleaned a little better but had great amenities and I would definitely stay here again!

Great condo!

Looks exactly as pictured. Great patio with view, ocean breeze and really nice patio furniture. We loved the private walking bridge to the beach. Condo included a folding beach wagon, beach chair and toys. Pool is large with plenty of pool chairs and the property landscaping is beautiful. Bedrooms were large and very comfortable. Having 2 full bathrooms and ceiling fans in all rooms was a huge plus. Kitchen and living area are small but worked for 2-3 people. The only criticism I have is there is way too much ceramic decor sitting on ALL surfaces in EVERY room! Was difficult to work around it. We would definitely book this condo again for a small party.

Family get away

My sister recently moved to Texas so we decided to try a Texas beach for spring break. It was the first time we’ve been. The condo was beautiful and well kept. All the cousins had a great time here!

Fall break trip

The property was nice and as described. Had an issue with the toilet but was fixed within an hour of calling for maintenance. Pool area was nice and easy access to the beach. Enjoyed our trip!

Perfect family vacation

Our family of 5 stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it! The condo was perfect for me, my husband and our three kids. We chose this condo because of the second bedroom (so our teenage son could have a room) and the direct access to the beach, which was wonderful after watching everyone on Seawall Blvd have to park and walk, etc. The condo was very nice and clean. We were glad to find beach chairs, toys and wagon to haul all our stuff. Renters of this condo be aware that the SeaScape office will not give you pool code or rent you beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. because the condo is owned by a third party. This was only a small inconvenience and the owner responded quickly to my request for the pool code. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. The complex as a whole is situated beautifully, is easy to get to and I liked that it was just off the end of the busy seawall but close enough to all of the activities we wanted to do.
