The property was so dirty and smelled really bad couldn't sleep at night because of the smell had to cancel the second night and go somewhere else..

The room we stayed in wasn’t very clean. Looks like they just change bedsheets and towels, but didn’t do the cleaning

Everything

The terrible smell of cigarettes since you enter the hotel, the room smelled terrible, an inexplicable smell, between cigarettes, dirt and rodent poison, there were cockroaches, they do not clean the room every day, since you check in they tell you to leave the towels outside the room, the garbage can at the entrance very full, the horrible green areas, the grass very long, very neglected.

Very over priced, but I get it! Supply and demand.

The staff was short handed and she was doing the best she could. She remained calm and friendly. The pool was open, which was nice but it was very busy. I jumped in and out just to stay cool. The property is a short walk to the beach! I would stay here again!

difficult to get parking on site, we have to wait around 30 minutes to get a spot

It was close to the beach and it was clean. We had ants in our room, the fire alarm went off for nothing, we had no room service we were told we had get clean towels from the desk as well as sheets if we wanted clean ones if we were going to stay 3 or more days they woke us up at 9am cleaning the carpet in the hall, very low water pressure and to top it off no breakfast they set out paper bags with a very small apple a small breakfast bar and about 1 1/2 in muffin still using Covid-19 for not having a hot breakfast when everything is opened back up in Galveston Texas. Not A Happy Customer. 😡😡

Clean and comfortable. Could hear footsteps from the room above at all times.

I am writing this review at 4:45am in the room we paid to stay. We travel with a sound machine for sleeping in order to drown out any noise around our room. Well, at this place it didn’t help as we were continuously awaken through the night by doors slamming loudly. All the rooms, like most hotels, have the room doors that automatically shut. And like most hotels, the ones here aren’t adjusted properly and are therefore on full slam mode. This may not have been a problem if the people across from us weren’t constantly in and out of their room for whatever reason at 2, 3, 4am in the middle of the night. Our stay here, as a result of not being able to sleep, was ruined. We did not get to enjoy the room we paid for with respect to getting a decent nights rest. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless you like paper thin walls and being woken up every time someone in a nearby room enters or exits their room. This place is awful and not even close to worth the rate we paid. Public Service Announcement: When you stay at a hotel, you don’t have to let the door slam shut just because it closes on its own. A lot can be said about a person courteous enough to gently close the door. I get that this isn’t always practical (i.e. hands are full with luggage and such), but just something to think about.

The front desk woman was extremely friendly. She knew us by name, and welcomed us/wished us well anytime we arrived or left the property. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Excellent property all around!

No buffet due to Covid, understandably, however they thought that a Gribble bar and an apple in a paper sack was a sufficient breakfast. Not to mention it it a new location which was a plus but their address isn’t updated on google so gps took us to 3 different places that all were not the hotel.

Poor information about location. Need signage off Main Street to identify facility

New hotel, so everthing was nice and clean bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was just ok. My biggest gripe is how small the room was. With 2 queen beds, you could hardly move around. Very cramped. Staff was very friendly.

The new 'industrial' look doesn't do much to provide privacy and quiet in the rooms or hallways. Not a fan of the solid tile floors, shades instead of curtains, stiff cushions. You could almost hear echos when talking in the room and when others passed by in the hallway outside our room. Very cold feeling, not warm and cozy.
