Our party of 6 adult siblings (ages 35-55) had a wonderful 4-night stay. Check-in and checkout were both easy, and the house was impeccably clean upon arrival. The beds and furniture were comfortable, there was plenty of space both inside and outside, and having a private fishing dock was a great bonus. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook, all appliances worked perfectly, and even the pots and pans were in good condition.A note for anyone with mobility concerns: the exterior stairs up to the house are a bit steep, and the interior stairs to the second floor are even narrower and steeper. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom are located on that second floor, so it's worth planning accordingly if your group includes older adults or anyone with mobility issues. This wasn't an issue for us, but it's worth knowing in advance.One more thing to flag: if total privacy is important to you, this may not be the right fit. The house sits quite close to another (bigger) house, and that home's two balconies partially overlook the downstairs sitting area of the rental. Halfway through our stay, two families with a lot of kids arrived next door, and for the rest of the trip we dealt with being watched from the balconies, kids yelling down at us, and even a half-eaten pizza tossed into our yard. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely an unwelcome distraction on what was meant to be an adults-only getaway. We would still book this house again.
