We pulled up to check in and their was three cop cars out front, not sure what we going on their. I booked a hoping to have a nice quiet night. They downgraded our room because of traveling with puppies. Did not get a discount for being in a cheaper room. They need to disclose which rooms are pet rooms and not change a current reservation unless they have intentions of doing a partial refund. I was not happy about this. Theirs a bob evans next door if you get hungry; wasn't happy with this location either. The room size was fairly big. The water in the shower did not stay hot for very long. Security cameras all around the premises made it feel like a safe place to stay.
I apologize for the welcome out front, we were making it safe for you to stay basically. It's hard to determine how a guest will represent themselves, we had one that wasnt behaving and they were being escorted out. ALL websites have posted we only allow pets in standard rooms, if they booked you one of our suites, that is not the hotels fault but the booking company. Once made on a booking site we do not have the option to adjust a rate, again not against the hotel. I am sorry your stay wasnt ok, maybe contact the hotel in the future. Thank you for your review.
Staff was very helpful the night we stayed. The bed was rather hard. For the price of the room for the night...95.00 dollars!! I will research my stay around there better next time.
Thank you for the review. We do stay competitive with other hotels in the area. We are in the process of upgrading the mattresses where needed. We purchase Sealy chiropractic mattress, it is hard to get everyone's preference so we try to go in the middle. Thanks for staying with us. Hope to see you again.
Hard to find with gps. Sits right by the bridge. Gps took us 2 miles past then back.

This hotel has been under construction for Several years. I stayed there in 11/2018 and it was under construction then so I thought it would be finished. It was not. I asked for a Non smoking room and got one but someone had smoked in it and it smelled terrible. I got in late about 11pm and left early before 5:30 because I could not stand the smell any longer. I will not stay here again.
I am sorry you had a bad stay. We are constantly renovating to make things better. We try very hard to keep smoking rooms in 1 wing of the hotel so it doesnt travel, however people do not respect others property anymore. With that being said we still try to air it out with our airator when we find a room that has been smoked in and replace all the linen iin the room.I do wish you would give us another opportunity. It is right next door to a Bob Evans restaurant which is a positive thing, but my view was of the parking lot.
