Pleasantly surprised.

I admit I was concered about this reservation but I was actually pleasantly surprised at the room. While you could tell it is an older property, the flooring and some of the furnishings were updated and everything was clean. Except maybe the shower curtain which I reported to management. As well as the fact that the blow dryer didn't work. Otherwise it was a good location and price for our overnight stay.

Questionable At Best

Room was dirty. Doorframe from the latch to the slide lock was broken. It was obvious the door had been kicked in. It smelled HEAVILY of cigarettes. The TV had no service. Overall: horrible experience.

Surprisingly pleasant experience.

On a date when every other inn in the area was charging $250 for the night The Whitesboro Inn was a very reasonable rate. Our expectations were not very high. This was a mercy trip, delivering the remain of a Vietnam era veteran to his family after three decades of family separation. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and exceedingly polite. The Inn is in the process of being completely refurbished after years of obvious neglect. While the decor and furnishings are very dated the room was very clean, comfortable, and functional. I recommend it and wish the new owners great success in their enterprise.

Never Again

I liked the location of this Motel, close to friends, and amenities. The outside looked nice from the road. However, it was extremely dated, with old school look, feel, and smell inside the room. Dirty walls, old dirty furniture, outdated shower and toilet. No real pictures on the wall, old ratty gold/brown window curtains.

Overall this place was nice. Dude at the front desk was super nice and accommodating. I work for the railroad and they gave us a pretty good rate for 8 nights.

The only issue was the pool was being cleaned and was not in use. Very friendly staff, clean room, bed was GREAT! I have back and leg issues, the pillows and bed were very comfortable I slept well! I will stay here again.
