Super convenient to highway exit and many surrounding restaurants. Though we chose to eat in.... food at hotel was better than average and reasonably priced. Wines were very good and reasonable too. Room was super comfy snd and shower was large. Loved our stay here!

Great location forgetting around Gainesville Fl. Our room was fantastic, clean - quite - modern & comfortable. The staff was most helpful with all our needs and requests. The pool was most refreshing / warm and clean. A good choice for couples & families.

Very nice hotel the staff were very nice and helpful check in is always super fast regardless how busy they are the staff at this location works fast and good!!!

Very clean, great design. Great location and has everything you need. Almost forgot i was at a hotel. Amazing court yard. Will stay again

Very clean with lots of amenities. Friendly staff!

Older hotel, but with character; a nice happy hour with popcorn and a fireplace. Cookies on checkin. The room was a good size, comfortable with a good bathroom. I have stayed at this hotel many times and it is always a nice clean place to stay, with above average amenities.

We felt we got a very good bargain by staying at The Lodge in Gainesville, FL. Our room was clean and well-appointed with a very comfortable bed. This facility has a large and welcoming lobby and one of the nicest areas for eating breakfast we have ever seen, with comfortable seating around a large fireplace. The included buffet breakfast was attractively served, warm and tasty. The only problem we had happened because we arrived shortly after a senior tour bus and there was only one person at the reception desk to handle all of their needs and other customers needing to check in. It seems like they should have had more staff on hand at the time.

loved the happy hour and breakfast! hotel was clean. staff was great!

This hotel met all of our needs. Great buffet breakfast, nice pool and extremely comfortable bed. The room was quiet. Ideal location next to the interstate yet it had gorgeous old oak trees and a nice place to walk. It's an older hotel but well maintained. Will stay there again.

Loved the location and especially the lobby common area - breakfast, happy hour, etc. were very nice. It's a great spot for gathering with family and friends. My only complaint was the jacked up price per weekend night because it was a home Gator football weekend. At $275 per night I was expecting new, luxury accommodations. Room was ok - but very basic. I was fine with paying $109 for Thursday night for that type of room. But it was definitely not worth $275/night. Loud old window/wall unit a/c - not central air on a wall thermostat. It was old and moldy - gave me a head cold!

It was perfect. Except the rooms were noisy mostly because your piped in music played all night in the courtyard and which kept us awake. The primary purpose of a hotel is sleep SO this is a problem.

In Gainesville for Florida Football game. Hotel made the stay an outstanding experience. Lots of activities in the lobby. Hotel hosted inside tail gate providing food and drinks on Friday evening prior to Saturday game. They went above & beyond to make their guest feel welcomed. Hotel is an easy 3 1/2 to four star hotel. Lobby was large and particularly attractive with rock fire place and wood accents in the center along with plenty of seating.

Very nice hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wi-fi in room was not as good as in the main building, but ok.

It was clean, and served it's purpose! the only complaint would be that I thoought breakfast could have been a little better! other than that, everything else was fine

OUR STAY WAS TOTALLY AWESOME GREAT STAFF CLEAN ROOMS AND GREAT FREE BREAKFAST AND HAPPY HOUR.. WOULD TOTALLY STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN...

We had a great experience, I must certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I loved staying at the Lodge. It was a great value for the money. It included a fabulous happy hour (full bar) and great assortment of breakfast offerings all for free. The outdoor patio was a nice place to meet with our friends and the pool looked very inviting. The only complaint would be the running toilet but other than that it was clean.

We had to stay for an appointment at Shands and it was very convenient.

The free breakfast was nice. ( a lot of choices.) The beds where wonderful firm mattress . We only had two problems: 1. The A/C wasn't cold enough, EVER. We did have them check on it after we left. 2. The rooms aren't insulated that well so you could hear everything going on in the hall way and sometimes they got loud with children laughing or running up and down. - regular stuff but loud in the rooms. Other than those two items we enjoyed our stay and would go back.
