"What a gem of a spot! We’ve had the best time relaxing, recharging, and soaking up the peaceful vibes on the river. The rocking chairs on the porch quickly became our favorite hangout—morning coffee just hits different with that view!This place had everything we needed and more. Best of all, it was quiet!!!Y’all have created a cozy, welcoming retreat, and we’re so glad we found it. Wishing you nothing but good times, great sunsets, and lots of joy out here in Whorton Bend. "

"Large & reasonably quiet room, considering its proximity to the Interstate. Comfortable bed and bedding. Quick arrival of hot water in shower and decent pressure. I did see a bug crawling down the wall once. The barking of a dog in a neighboring room was quite audible, but didn't last very long. The shower fixtures were elegant-looking but it took a few minutes to figure out how to get the water to come out of the shower head. The shower head used a square button to change the water pattern. But after using it a minute or 2, pressing the button for a different pattern shut off the water altogether! To restore flow, I had to turn the water off, force the diverter open to drain the head, and begin again. I'm an engineer and it took me a while to figure this thing out. Not a good design! Pretty, but not good."
