Regal Inn room 225 in Guntersville Alabama

This review is in regards to room 225; the front door wasn’t properly sealed (there was a good quarter inch gap), the bathroom door was falling apart and the toilet seat was partially broken, and neither the main light or bedside light worked (we were left with just the vanity and bathroom light to use). The main lobby remained locked and was never open during the day. The staff required us to do everything through the “night window”. The morning of checkout (8:15am), we waited outside the “night window” for 30 minutes waiting for staff to show. There was no sign to signal they’d be back shortly.

There was never nobody at the front desk to get what you needed that was like pictures hanging off the wall and bugs everywhere since there was roaches everywhere and they refused. slept in car in parking lot

We had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. When we arrived, we found several small dead bugs, and more appeared over the next hour. While we didn’t see bed bugs, my husband woke up with two bites. The room showed signs of poor maintenance — hairs in the tub and on towels, and items like the bed cover were damaged and worn. The sheets appeared clean but had visible stains. We kept our belongings separate out of caution. Overall, the cleanliness and condition of the room made us very uncomfortable. I would not stay here again and recommend looking elsewhere.

Not a king bed

The AC unit was very noisy. It rattled all night long. Also we were supposed to have a king bed. We didn’t realize it until the next morning that the bed was flipped sideways. So headboard to footboard was short while cross ways it was longer. Also we never could get the TV to show any channels.

There were roaches everywhere inside my room. THE SHOWER head was spraying water everywhere and could not swap it to the bathtub. TV was messed up. And floor wasnt very clean. Very poor stay for supposedly the very good room.

Older but great stay👍

This is an older establishment but you could tell they are doing little renovations. The outside was beautiful but the rooms were cute and very clean. We had a home repair and had to stay as an emergency. But i honestly had a great night and the staff was wonderful 👍

With a cheap hotel certain things are expected and I know that. The stay was u expected ad a last minute type of thing. So I had went to Walmart to buy some essentials needed for hygiene for the overnight stay( tooth brush, tooth paste, deodorant, body wash) I was talked into a “single king suite” which was 30 dollars more than my previous price because of the bath tub with jets and couch essentially l. The jets did not work. The room smelt like drugs were smoked in there. There several roaches as soon as I took the blanket off the bed. I was told checkout was at 11. I was gone from 8-10 running some errands getting things was needing for the day . I got back around 10 and noticed the curtain was opened and the bed was made. I walked in and all my stuff was thrown away and they had already came in and cleaned. I was highly upset and felt like my personal space was definitely invaded. I went into the main office to speak with someone and no one was available so I left. I will never be back here nor will I recommend it. I am definitely going to file a formal complaint and going to try and get my money back . It’s unacceptable for someone to come in well before check out and just clean your belongings out like that
