Most relaxing stay I have ever had on a business trip! The staff at the Hampton went well and above to ensure my stay was great. The TV service as well as Internet connection was great. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was extremely clean and all of the grounds were well kept. The breakfast bar looked great although I didn't have time to sit down and eat. The staff still gave me fruit to take with me and eat on the road.
Hilton exceeded all expectations for their guests during Hurricane Irma. They relaxed pet policies and discounted prices to assist us Floridians that chose to flee Irma. Hampton Inn Guntersville, AL was our safe haven for five days. General Manager Sandy Howell and team totally nailed it for their guests from arrival to departure. It felt like I was home with my family as opposed to being a guest in a hotel. Can't say enough good things about Sandy and her team and Kudos to Hilton Corporate for their strategy to support us during a significant event.
My family (3 adults, 2 kids, & 2 cats) evacuated from the Tampa Bay area due to hurricane Irma. We had not planned to stay in at the Hampton originally, but made the choice at the last minute. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfasts were fabulous! We stayed 4 nights and were very well taken care of. The hotel is scheduled for some renovations, mostly painting and updating, but it was easy to overlook that since everyone was so helpful.
Very clean. Very nicely decorated. The softest bed I have ever slept in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very delicious breakfast. Nice exercise room and pool. Nice location. Very fresh, no musty or foul odors.
Our stay was great! The view from our room was great! The hotel was clean and managed well! We will be retuning for future stays. We have family close by and we love the view of the lake! Thanks for providing us with a great stay!
I found this Hampton Inn to be very clean and well maintained. My room, the common areas, even the fitness center were all very clean with all of the equipment in good working order. The staff, including the front desk personnel, breakfast servers and housekeeping members were all friendly and helpful. I will certainly stay here again when I am back in this area.
Everything was super nice. Desk clerks were friendly and helpful. The breakfast attendant was wonderful. Room was very clean...I looked for dirt and it was not there! Great view of lake. No complaints from me!
Stayed here for anniversary weekend. Nice view of lake! Only complaint is the bed! (the mattress being old and worn out). So I recommend new ones, to have happier guest! Next to Wintzel's and complimentary access to boat launch. Free breakfast, very friendly service. .........
I stayed at this motel because I had to check out of a different motel in Arab, AL that was already booked my last night for an upcoming archery tournament. The cost of this motel is exorbitant for the area and for what it offers in my opinion. I just don't think it's worth the expense and probably won't return due to the cost. The Arab motel is not as fancy, but it's a 1/3 of the cost. About the only advantage this motel would have are the view of the lake and having a workout area (which I didn't use). The room in the Hampton was clean and the mattresses were in excellent condition. I slept very well and it was quiet. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. The volume down button on my TV remote didn't work, but I stayed with one station watching a movie and didn't really need to use it so I didn't worry about it. Told the staff when I left the motel.
This hotel is very clean and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need. Hampton Inn has come to be my "go to" hotel anytime I need to reserve out of town stays.
