We had noisy people above our room, complained at 11pm and 1am to front deck! The people continued to make noise, terrible night of sleep...

this is my second stay with this hotel, the staff is friendly helpful and a joy. The rooms are clean and tidy. Walking distance to some great restaurants. The Best

If you're looking for a quick night's stay, then this place is perfect. But just a quick stay. breakfast was ok. Rooms had minor odors. Internet access was poor. Only amenity for children was a pool. But the STAFF was awesome! They try to accommodate and make you feel comfortable as best as possible. Plenty of tv channels. Nice "suite" rooms. Good for the price.

everything was wonderful. the room was nice, clean and comfy....the staff was very polite and helpful. i will definately stay here again

We had no problems checking in. Management was very receptive to all our needs. Loved location.

Hotel was very nice and the staff couldn't be better. We were only there one night but enjoyed our stay.

The size of the room was very small. We had a queen size bed and there was just enough room to get to either side of the bed. The room felt cramped. My mother had 2 queen size beds in her room it was about the same. It did have a window seat that was big enough that a small kid could sleep on. The pool is so small. Positive note close to about everything.

While Not A Hilton, this is a very nice hotel with a free quick breakfast. Comparable to an Econo Lodge, or a Holiday Inn, they host a friendly staff, and are eager to fulfill requests for toiletries and additional bedding. I would recommend this Hotel as having the best overall value in the area.

Great place to stay. Large room made it very comfortable. Great staff.

The staff was amazing. Our room was small but very clean and put together well. The breakfast wasn't great but not a deal breaker. Very impressed with the room for the price. I would stay here again!

We were given a room initially that had cold beer in a drawer, a container that smelled like it had marijuana in it and a lighter. There was also an empty cigarette pack out. The toilet wouldn't flush, so we called the front desk. They initially said they had no more rooms and would call maintenance. They called right back and said we could be upgraded to a suite for same price but it would be smoking. Whem they called back to tell us the room was ready, they said they were out of suites and just put us in a regular room, but smoking.

I needed to come back to Guntersville for three nights to clean out a storage locker and pack up some belongings (I've moved to another city). I have stayed, over the years, or rented for customrs and have gone to check out, all of the upper level and mid-range hotels in Guntersville and Albertville. For this trip I just wanted something clean, safe, inexpensive and comfortable. I was very pleased. I rented a single bed room for $44 per night since I signed up for three nights (but could have gotten a double for about $6 more per night I believe). The bed was more comfortable than beds in many of the much pricier hotels in which I've stayed. The doors all open to the inside, which I think promotes better safety. The furniture and bedding was in great shape. The breakfast bar was decent. The cleaning staff was great and offered extra towels when asked. The breakfast bar was adequate. The ice machine worked well. There was a window to the outside (which turned out to be handy. We parked outside and lifted our bags through). The only real con was that our remote didn't work well and we had to change some of the channels by hand - they didn't have a replacement. I'd stay there again though. Nice staff. Comfortable, clean, and you can't beat the price.

My Mom got gravely ill during our stay. The staff at this Motel went beyond the call of duty in cleaning up room while while my mom (85 years old) went to the E.R. nearby. I wish to thank that Microtel staff for treating us like family and for going way beyond what they had to do in assisting. My mom went to the E.R. at 2:30 A.M. in the morning; the staff called the ambulance for us; and she was released at 9:00 A.M. to be able to travel back to Memphis, TN. Thanks Microtel. In Christ.
