Funchal Vacation Packages

The hotel is at a great location. Stores and restaurants nearby although a bit further away from downtown Funchal but it's worth the walk. Straight down from the hotel, there's a small area where you can swim in the ocean if it's not too windy ( the waves can get very high and strong), otherwise just use the pool at the hotel. We got a room with a comfortably big balcony with a view to the ocean and a small kitchenette that had everything we needed. The room was clean, neat and comfortable. The only possible negative is that we saw a few cockroaches near the hotel entrance (although walking around we saw this near other hotels as well) and found 1 small one in our room during our 5 day stay. For some people this can be a huge issue but I didn't see it as a problem as it was a small one only. You can always talk to someone at the desk downstairs and see what can be done if this issue arises. People were friendly and helpful in general. I think we got a good deal for the money we spent.

We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices nicely displayed. We liked having a mini-frig in the room. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet he staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English well.
