Location is very good. Close to shopping malls and restaurants. Train station is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Check in and check out is convenient and you can leave your luggage. There are lockers and coin laundry machine for washer and dryer.
love this small efficient attractive hotel. located in the heart of the action - Daimyo - great fashion, amazing restaurants, craft breweries - with a charming cafe and bookshop. the place is spotless and the staff are well-informed and wonderful to deal with. a very welcoming place. thank you Lamp Light Hotel!
Great hotel to stay at, really good area, great shopping, food, walking areas. Great coffee shop in the lobby, rooms were very nice as well, great bed/shower
Great hotel with friendly staff and lovely cafe in very trendy area, lots of evening options immediately around the hotel. The room was clean - yes maybe it was a little small - but overall the stay was 10/10.
The room and hotel in general is a little small, hard to maneuver around with luggage, especially having to go through the cafe for the check-in counter. Service is very good though, and staff were fluent in English. Room is clean. Location is a little inconvenient coming from the train.
It has some wow factors such as the lobby/cafe with lots of books and the bustling and hip neighborhood. The coffee at the cafe is good and the price is Y495. It is fairly cheap for the quality and the ambience. The neighborhood is fun to explore.
The downside is, it has very small rooms. I stayed in a twin room with my wife, and it was the one of the smallest, if not ‘the’ smallest, rooms I ever stayed in. I don’t recommend it for those with large carriers. In addition, as the neighborhood is bustling, you should expect some noise very late at night. There are lots of bars and restaurants in the area.
