Shermain was very helpful and friendly at the check in. The pool over on the side of the resort where we stayed was nice and quiet. The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants. Also there is a small supermarket in front.
We stayed at the Royal St. Kitts 2 nights in December. We arrived about 2:20p and check-in was 3p. We were told our room wasn’t ready and we needed to wait. I ventured off to find an outside bar after waiting about 15m. It would have been nice to be directed to it while we waited. We were checked in a little before 3p and the staff was very pleasant. Our room was upstairs and we were offered assistance with our back but after waiting we elected to take the bags our self. The room Is spacious, has an outside balcony, great storage etc. The room was mostly clean. The floors and rugs had dog hair and had not been swept or cleaned thoroughly. We only stayed two nights so we didn’t have our room cleaned. The last day we worked out at their fantastic gym. It was pretty clean with a lot of equipment. We asked for towels about 9a. They never came before we checked out at noon. We also swam before checkout but no towels. We left with no towel after about a hour. The lobby was beautiful. Pool area and live music were great. Bartender by the pool didn’t seem to know bartending much but he listened if you walked him through a drink. Staff was pleasant. Oh, and the security is kind of awkward. The just stand around corners and don’t say much. I’ve never seen security that tight at a hotel. Hotel was walkable to several restaurants. Coconut Grove is amazing!!!! Casino is across the street at the Marriott and several other restaurants. Bottom line: I would stay again and recommend.

A large group of us checked in on the 27th of June. We were greeted with a very warm and cordial welcome by Ornella. The check in process was very smooth, without a hitch. We were escorted to our various rooms with our luggage by a friendly and courteous young man. Throughout our stay, we had to interact with the front desk staff on various occasions and our issues were always resolved promptly. Checkout was a breeze. Shermain made it very pleasant and easy. There are two recommendations that I would like to make: 1. Provide a list of the number of guests per room to the housekeepers so that they will know how many towels to leave. 2. Place the broom and dustpan in a more discrete location. In our suite, it was stored in the entrance hall as soon as you open the door. Overall, our stay at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel was both memorable and delightful. We enjoyed every moment, and would recommend this hotel to anyone. We thank the staff, who helped to make our stay in St. Kitts a delight.
Safe, great location, amazingly pleasant staff! The room we had could have been a little cleaner and the appliance could use updating! Overall great experience.

I had to change my room twice. The first room was not cleaned. Dirty towels were there and the bed wasn't properly made. The second room was poorly maintained; the furniture, floors, walls, and countertops needed to be replaced/touched up. The Wi-Fi in the lobby worked well, but connection in the guestrooms took 3 people to set up. Check-in took almost an hour, and I was finally settled in room 3 about 3 hours after arriving on the property. The rest of my stay was okay, but it was such an overall unpleasant experience, especially for the price I paid and short stay. Nevertheless, the property is beautiful, and the staff is nice (specifically the front desk, lobby bar, gym, and pool bar teams).
The property is next to a lagoon, away from the beach on the strip of hotels and a few restaurants. (The lagoon is bordered with boulders. No sand, no getting into the water). They have a restaurant, pool, bar, gym as well as other amenities. The room I got had a kitchenette, a very good AC system, ceiling fan and a balcony. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. It had a large shower. In addition, they offer 110V American outlets. If you want to rent a car, be aware that they drive on the LEFT side of the road. Instead, you could take a taxi almost anywhere or take multiple tours. Parking is free. The very large Marriott is next door is possibly a nicer property with access to a sandy beach. However, if you don't plan to just stay at the hotel, this is a good value and comfortable location.
We reserved a 2 BR room to accommodate 4 people and there were only towels for 2. We did request additional towels and they were eventually delivered. Other than this minor inconvenience, we were pleasantly surprised with the property.
