American Former Student Visiting Freiburg

I spent a year studying in Freiburg a few years ago and came back to visit some friends and see my home away from home. The property is twenty paces away from the tram stop pictured in the listing. Even if you’re a tourist who doesn’t speak German, the street car is simple to buy a ticket for in English. I was very tired and arrived pretty late in loca time, and I easily rode the Bahn to Weddigenstrasse and called the property manager’s wife who kindly came to the tram stop and brought me to the apartment. She was even nice enough to show me how to make myself a cup of coffee with their machine. I spent each morning sitting on the nice balcony with a hot cup of tea and enjoyed the view of the wine grapes growing across the street. If you’re looking for somewhere easy to crash in Freiburg that doesn’t require too much navigating from public transportation, this place is perfect.
