The perfect little cabin in the trees

We loved everything about this cabin, Its thoughtfully and stylishly designed, it's surrounded by trees & moss covered rocks, and it fit our family of four perfectly. We really enjoyed the fire pit & spa very much and just our time alone in nature surrounded by trees. It was the perfect little getaway, thank you Cozy Rock!

Amazing house! Clean!! And full of luxury!

Beautiful house, all nicely done. Very clean. Exactly as advertised. Great for small family or couples getaway. Close to downtown Freeport. Highly recommend.

We Cozy Rock Cabin!

Cozy Rock Cabin is absolutely wonderful! Janice was an incredible host ensuring our stay was nothing but relaxing! The moss covered rocky landscape surrounding the cabin is simply serene. The cabin is beautifully designed with wonderful textures, colors and patterns in the finishes and furniture. We enjoyed cooking in the perfectly stocked kitchen then sipping some local craft brews by the fire. It’s obvious there was much thought and love put into this peaceful cabin to ensure all guests feel at home. This was the perfect place to unwind, reconnect and relax. We will most definitely be back!

The Perfect Maine Escape

Our family trip to the Cozy Rock Cabin was pure magic! We're all back home now, but seriously struggling with some post-vacation blues. The place was captivating - the beauty went way beyond anything a picture could capture. We haven't stopped talking about it to everyone we know! The cabin itself was a dream! The decor was stunning - a lovely blend of natural and organic elements that brought the beauty of the Maine outdoors right inside. We especially loved how the hosts showcased the work of local Maine artists and small businesses throughout the space. One of the highlights for me was the amazing library in the loft. There were so many wonderful books, and I can't wait to return someday and spend more time curled up with a good read! The cabin hosts were fantastic! They provided tons of useful information and recommendations, especially for first-time visitors like us. We felt so welcome and prepared thanks to their thoughtfulness. The cabin stay was just incredible, but the hosts truly went above and beyond. They left us a heartfelt gift bag that was such a thoughtful touch - it really made us feel special. The hospitality of the cabin hosts truly made the trip. We'd love to return someday and share some delicious local Maine beers with them – they seem like they'd be fantastic friends! Maine has truly stolen our hearts. We're even seriously considering buying some land or maybe even a home there. It's that incredible!

Wonderful Cabin Retreat

Wow...What a wonderful rental! From the initial booking to my stay, and departure, Janice was the ultimate host! It is obvious that she is passionate about not only her property but your stay. She was a delight to work with and never hesitated to be available for me. Her home is exactly as listed and even better! There was everything there that we could want and then some. She left beautiful welcome treats which were so thoughtful and appreciated. The home is well equipped...we grilled out the afternoon we arrived, used the hot tub and enjoyed the indoor reading space. (many books to choose from) A yoga mat too!!! The home was very clean and things were in great working order. The property seems like you are by yourself in a very private area but Freeport is just minutes away. Janice has a house binder with all sorts of suggestions which were helpful. We followed many of her suggestions and they were spot on. We really enjoyed the flow of the house and space...commenting that this exactly the kind of vacation property that we would love to own. My husband and I are already talking about a return visit. If I could rate this rental higher that a 10, I would...you will not be disappointed in staying here. Thanks Janice for a memorable time!
