The hotel is located very close to Nuremberg old city, walk-able distance of few minutes. There are lots of shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs around. My room in general was good, large enough to accommodate a couple, I was missing a minibar but other amenities were in place. In general good value for the price.
Absolutely wonderful. One of the best hotels I have stayed at. We were upgraded to the business room(thank you for this!), and the view is immense. We had room number 405, incredible view. I arrived on my birthday and at check in was greeted with a candle lit cake and some singing. Thank you for this. Once we got to the room there was some decoration and another birthday cake! I felt spoilt. The location is very good. 5 minutes walk to the old town (there is a quick route!). First day we got lost! Very close to Aldi. 15 minute walk to the train station and 5 minutes to underground. We got the Ubah from the airport to Opernhaus €3 each one way. TV is great size and the beds are very comfy. Shower is lovely and always warm. The air con wasn't great but we had two windows which we kept open. There's an ice machine in ground floor!! Thank you for a wonderful birthday.
Have stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend for a weekend. Staff was very helpfull. Hotel is walking distance to old town and city centre. Ideal for travellers. Have a very good gym with sauna. Will come for sure thanks for making our trip to nuremberg so special.
This is a very good hotel. We were satisfied with the room, the location and the very serviceminded staff. The hotel also have a small bar. However, we thought breakfast was included, as we booked in a Club Carlsson member site. The hotel did not make us aware of this, just wrote down our room number and then charged us €38 per day for quite an average breakfast. We had no idea before we checked out. Our mistake, of course, but not a nice way to treat customers.
Nuremberg is a wedding destination so the hotels were all booked months in advance. This was the only one I could get. The hotel seems nice in the lobby, the people were friendly enough but our room was a nightmare. Our room had sewage issues with the resulting smell the entire night. We closed the bathroom door and that helped (except when we had to open the door to use the bathroom) but when I reported it the next morning, the staff didn't seem alarmed at all. They did move us to another room immediately but when I suggested they needed a plumber because something was clearly wrong in the bathroom, they didn't even address it. My suspicion is they passed the room on to the next tourist. The next room had an old air conditioning system that essentially didn't change temperature just blew a steady stream of coolish air. Luckily we only had two nights there. It seems the rooms are all different with different AC systems etc. As long as you are specific I guess you could stay. I won't ever again.
Nice modern, reasonably priced hotel in a great location. Rooms and common areas clean, modern and bright and welcoming. Prices ok but you may need to factor in €19 per night to park in their car park. (There is free parking overnight on street from 8pm to 8am, I arrived at 6pm so paid €4 to park in street and moved car into car park in the morning) There is free wifi, which is very good. There is a reasonably gym on he top floor but the sauna is so small as to be pointless. The rooms are modern with big TV but only limited selection of English language channels (CNN / Sky Atlantic) - Sky News or BBC news would have been good. The lighting n the rooms is excellent with mood lighting, in a range of controllable colours, around the bed. We didn't have the breakfast, but saw it and it looked overpriced so pleased we didn't. Location is good with trams and shops nearby (including an Aldi) and only 15 minutes walk to the main shopping areas and old town. The red light district is nearby but area felt totally safe, even late at night. I would definately return if in Nuremberg and would highly recommend.
The room was clean and well priced. The location was a bit further out than I would have liked but it was fine. We were there on a Sunday night so we were able to park on the street for free. We did not get the breakfast as it was not included. I would stay there again.
This hotel was a perfect choice for our few nights in the city, so close to the old part of town for sightseeing, right in the city for eating out and with easy access to the underground trams etc to get to and from the airport in a few minutes , the hotel itself was spotless and really modern and got the price well it's a bargain! The room was spacious modern and spotless too, bed was so comfy all in all a great stay here
I remember staying in this hotel years ago. At that time I told myself - never again. When I saw that it was renewed I have decided to give it one more chance. And it was worth it. Colorful and clean hotel with great Dove amenities in the bathroom. There was a color changing light next to a bed, so something little extra for the disco lovers. (can be switched off) Location - walking distance to the centre, metro/underground is 200m away and train station is also walking distance. They offer paid parking in the underground garage and free wifi. Staff at the reception was nice, helpful and fast working! I might stay again when in NUE.
Location wise i was a touch worried , its not inside the castle walls and the opposite side to the iconic visually pleasing castle area. In reality its in a really good location, and within 10 minutes of most things. There are many bars and restaurants in Nuremberg and Saturday night is awesome , way more to do than is depicted online- Its a great city with incredible churches and everything can be reached within minutes, be that on foot or on the nearby tube. The hotel is clean and staff attentive. They are polite , and approachable and the rooms presented well. The rooms are a little small , but not in a way you would complain about it . So i guess i have no complaints - the only reason i cant give it full marks is because there are much better hotels in the world , but if you are factoring in the price paid and the hotel choice this is a full marked hotel!
