Nice quiet location, helpfull staff fantastic food. Parking provided off road next to the woodland. Nice garden.Dog owners welcomed. The only bad thing was the pillows as they had not enough staffings in it so they dont hold your head at all. Luckily had our own one so had a good night sleep. Easy to find, near to the main motorways. English speaking receptionist and waitresses were helpfull and professional. We stayed there for an other night too on our way back to England.
The room was brand new, a modern design within an old style building. Italian shower, comfy bed, etc. The staff is remarkably friendly and nice. The breakfast was as well very good. We were driving by on the highway so the location is really convenient if you're on a road trip. Vielen Dank !
This hotel is located outside Nürnberg, 8 km from the city centre. It has free private parking. Very friendly staff. We asked for a quiet room and got on the third floor. Room was small but nice and newly furnished.
Its not well connected to the city or any place. It is on a highway without a subway connection and buses are not very frequent to the place. But still nice place to stay in peace and out of the city crowd. I went for morning walk to the adjoining dense forest and liked it a lot. It is worth going there. It was strange as you need to be careful and use keys to lock your room from inside (not required in any other hotel doors), somehow my doors were unlocked both the night I stayed at hotel. I hope they have switched already to access control doors or at least auto lock doors. I mostly stayed outside and came very late, so no comments on service.
Surrounding of the hotel was quite and located about 20 min by car to exhibition center. The room was small but ok to spend the night. Clean and functional. I had dinner in the hotel - good local menu and nice service. The hotel is fully ok for business stays, however I would not choose this place for vacation as it is far from city center. There is an outdoor sitting bar when weather allows.
don't expect too much from this LANDHOTEL ... it has newly remodelled rooms, which are quite small, and the overall appearance is that of a standard franchise/chain hotel nevertheless it"s conveniently close to the Freeway, clean and very practical if you're looking for a short overnight stay if you want to visit Nuremberg and the surrounding areas I would recommend a place in the wonderful old center of town
Efficient, polite, reception. Rooms on the small size but clean and fine for our purposes of an overnight stay. Evening meal excellent, taken in the grounds outside the hotel. Breakfast provided a good choice of well presented and tasty food.
The rooms were small but clean and adequate. Service was good. But the main negative is the location. It is far from the city with nothing nearby. If you rely on public transport you have to take both a bus and train to reach the city center. The free parking is a big bonus and thats why we picked it but we would have been better off with a hotel closer to the action.
After a flight and long drive I arrived at the hotel. On check in (really wonderful receptionist, perfect English) I bought a big bottle of water, really thirsty like a horse, and some sweets. Up I trotted to my room, opened the door and was greeted by the most horrifying sight, TWO bottles of water, yup, twin Wasser on the house. So, after settling into the very comfortable room, I stuffed the two freebie bottles into my case, for later consumption, no way we're they getting left there, just to upset another thirsty horse when they arrive in the room. Apart from all that everything was perfect, parking was as aplenty as the free water, so enjoy your stay and don't go buying that expensive stuff downstairs!
I found the hotel to be in a somewhat ideal location, not in town but not far from town. The staff were generally pleasant. The night I arrived the night porter was probably the most pleasant man I met. Very helpful. Good impression. It sort of ends there. The room was just about, a little bit too small with little space to move around. The shower was very badly placed and they only left 1 towel and hand towel. If you shower twice a day then that is not enough. The towels were also of the worst quality. You could hardly dry yourself with them. The room did not seem to have it's own air conditioning and my room had the run coming in which meant it got quite hot. There were two complimentary bottles of water which is nice and a teas and coffee set which meant you could have had a cup of tea or coffee which is also nice. The breakfast was a buffet and was very good. There was everything from cold meat, cheese, bacon, scrombled egg, sausaged, mini burgers which were delicious, a large choice of breads, jams, butter, fruit, muesli, cereals. The orange and some other juice were not fresh but they were from the mark Michel which is a very good juice not powder. I guess one should not expect a good coffee in Germany. There was a machine or te lady or man would bring you a jug of coffee americano i think they call it. All is all I had little to complain about in general at the breakfast. There is lots of parking even when pretty full. It was a little bit pricex for what it is. It is really overpriced. I was there during one of Europe's most famous and greatest long distance triathlon Challenge Rot and I am sure that is what caused the prices to be so high. The hotel surroundings are really nice. Lots of places to walk or cycle.
