The staff were amazing, especially Alina & Lucas. Would definitely stay again!

Staff upgraded my daughter & me to lovely room with twin beds & river view! Very friendly.

Our stay was really lovely. The hotel is run by a marvelous woman who makes sure you are happy. She is an expert on whisky too, so we had a tasting of whisky that was really fun. The room was comfortable. We did have to go out to eat because the hotel has no restaurant, but she made reservations for us and it was excellent and a 3 minute drive away.

I can't say enough good things about the hotel. The room was lovely and spacious. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was terrific. The location and view were amazing. My only suggestion is that if people know they'll arrive late, they need to make a dinner reservation at a local restaurant. We went to four restaurants before finding one that was still open and taking customers at 7:30 pm.

Staff was very professional and friendly ..... takes time to talk with guests and answer questions. The rooms were large and clean with a view like no other from rooms facing the Loch. They were trying a soft opening on dinners and the food was excellent! We will definitely suggest this place to friends. Only down side I can think of is that there are stairs so may not work for those who would be hindered by the climb.

This hotel was clean and comfortable, Small rooms, no extra amenities, but served a good nights lodging and nice breakfast.

Unfortunately our check-in did not go very well. My husband and I were utterly surprised that the receptionist asked us to prove that our son is 10 years old and to sign off on it. Instead of taking our word, she practically argued with us why she had to do it and basically blamed it on management. She then proceeded to tell us that people have tried to sneak kids under 10 into the hotel and in other cases children wet the bed. Quite frankly we could care less about what other guests have done, that is not our problem and your receptionist should not be telling us that. I was not comfortable showing my son's passport to a complete stranger. If we had been in our own country we would have had no ID for him and what would have happened then? We don't know any parents who carry ID for their children. Very unwelcoming. If you have children near the age of 10 be prepared to be asked to prove the age. When we booked through Orbitz.com we selected our son's age but nowhere on the reservation did it say we would need to prove his age upon request. Although someone did come up to speak to my husband to give an explanation, I am skeptical because the young woman who checked us in never mentioned the licensing requirement. The young woman at the front desk treated us like she did not believe what we were saying, and it was not a nice welcome . Those sound like two separate reasons to me. Quite honestly it sounds like neither one is telling the truth.

Second time there and would go back. Staff is awesome. Breakfast very good. This place gets you out of the busyness of Ft. William.

Great place to stay and explore Glencoe. Breakfast was great. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Friendly staff and comfortable, basic accommodations. Breakfast was very good. The 2-bedroom suite was clean and provided a beautiful view of the loch. It was a perfect place to stopover, with plans to take the Jacobite steam train and travel onward to Isle of Skye.
