Nothing.. place smell in the lobby and in the rooms

I like location, close to fast foods, gas stations and Walmart, Dislike, that the sign outside it was off, at first thought that the hotel was close, the room have a bad smell, the curtains are see thru (no privacy or cover for outside light)'

It CB was a decent property staff friendly. Breakfast was good

The first room had a strong smoke smell, and the smoke alarm had been removed (bare wires sticking out of the wall). When I notified the front desk, they appeared concerned, and I was given another room. We had 2 rooms, and the second room had a broken door jamb where the door had been kicked in. It had been very poorly repaired.

It had a slight facelift but could still use some more work. If you're looking for a spotless and perfect this is not it but for the money it's not bad. The breakfast was great every morning and my kids had a great time.

We stopped for the night and were very happy with the hotel and amenities. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything worked. Nice hotel. I would stay here again.

The Quality Inn at Pecos, Texas is located near I-20 within a 2 hour drive from the Carlsbad Caverns. The rooms are somewhat dated but are clean. The restaurant is very good, the common area is a nice place to sit, and the staff is friendly. An overall below average Quality Inn in a good location.

The Quality Inn at Pecos Texas is a great location to stop for the night, either to hit Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico bright and early the next day, or to break up the West Texas schlep on I-10. Rooms are clean, bedding is satisfactory, and the wake-up call was delivered on time. Big downside was the free included breakfast. I was down by 8:15 (breakfast was 6-9), and there was precious little fare, and what there was had obviously been allowed to lie there: cool eggs, congealed grease on the sausage and bacon. No oatmeal to be seen, nor milk. Staff were already eating at two of the tables, and there was no response for more food even when the person in charge was stopped and asked for some (he was busy moving boxes on a dolly). Not a great way to start the day.

The quality inn pecos is in my opinion a terrible hotel. The cleanliness was no good, the room smelled from the sink and the tub/shower. The hallways were very dank and smelly. I was thoroughly uncomfortable from the smell and the damp wet feeling in the hotel. The AC was sub-par, and was unable to keep up with the heat of the night, let alone the daytime. I will never stay at that hotel again.

Thank you for the review. My desk clerks should have been able to exchange your room and inform that the blackout curtains are behind the shear ones and opened to the end. We’d surely like for your return. Please keep us updated if so
