The size of the one bedroom room was nice and roomy but there was a lot of wasted space. The kitchenette had a very tiny mini refrigerator, very tiny sink and microwave there too. There was practically no counter space. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom a decent size but with no frills. The carpet seemed new and clean. The grounds of the property could use a lot of work. The front entrance had a lot of bird poop droppings. The golf course view was nothing to brag about. The breakfast dining area in the lobby was a good size. One of the washing machines out of the 2 available on our floor was out of service.
Very nice that they allow dogs at no extra charge. They even gave her a treat cup. Very nice.
This was a one-night stay on our way home from a Texas vacation with our family (7 traveling together). The hotel was nice enough...clean and fairly updated. As we walked into the main lobby the smell of chlorine was strong. The reason is that the pool is indoors, and just down the hall from the check-in counter. Having travelled all day my 3 grandsons were very anxious to go swimming. Their swim lasted less than 20 minutes (they are usually in the water for hours). The pool room was extremely hot and stuffy and the chlorine was so strong that their eyes were burning in no time. We went upstairs to our rooms. They too were clean and fairly updated. Unfortunately as my wife went to take a shower there was no hot water. She let it run for many minutes thinking it would just take a while to arrive from the hot water heater. Unfortunately the temperature never got above a tepid pool temperature. I assumed that the motel simply had undersized water heaters and that the arriving workmen had used all the hot water. Early the next morning I tried to get a hot shower, with the same results...only tepid pool temperature water. I understand that happening in a 3rd-world country, but not is a La Quinta Inn in the USA. I was (we were) very disappointed.
Bad shower. No water pressure. Explanation is that they are working with the city to get some pressure. My explanation is don't put anyone on the floor if you know there is no water pressure. Used towel to remove soap since water trickled outfit

The motel was very nice. Customer service excellent! Bed was amazing, very comfy. My only complaint is that pets were allowed in dining area. That is not acceptable for me. So, I would not stay for that reason alone.
Appears to be a new facility. In excellent condition, clean, nicely appointed room and with well equipped fitness room. Full hot breakfast was excellent quality. Only criticism would be that fitness room needs a fan or mechanism to reduce the temperature. A little more expensive but a luxurious feel.
