I am a General Superintendent for a Civil Construction company doing a 4 month bridge job in Pecos. Before coming to Pecos I spoke to several hotels about a lengthy stay of 6-8 rooms. The General Manager here, Nancy Martinez was easily the most cooperative and sincere host I’ve ever dealt with when it came to assisting me with securing that many rooms for such a lengthy stay. The hotel is fantastic with every amenity you could ask for after a long day. The staff is an amazing group, always available to assist with whatever you need. Breakfast is better than any restaurant in town with a large buffet. My crews and I travel throughout the state and I can honestly say that the LaQuinta/Pecos is without question, the place to stay. Value. Comfort. Kindness. Three things I look for and this place is the tops in all!

We had traveled 500 miles and were very tired. We were able to get the last room available, but were charged $200 for one night, It was explained that the oil field workers were taking up all the rooms, i.e. supply and demand. The room was not worth the rate charged.

This busy La Quinta is home base for many oil field workers yet made travelers feel very welcome . Service was beyond the expected despite the full house! My small dog, McKinnet, & I were welcomed as if we were family!

It is so sad to see a once great hotel start a downward slide. Help is needed in lots of areas. Arriving to the outside entry was a load of dirt and mud and that continued into the lobby, reception area and down the halls. We had requested a downstairs room over three weeks ago and when we arrived the only first floor room that was available was not clean. The reception clerk nor anyone else, had seen our request at all until we checked in. The bed was lumpy, pillows lumpy and the room looked and felt tired. For the $185 per night rate the place was an embarrassment. We always stay here on our travels to and from California because we have a pet. However, the oil people are wearing out the hotel and are causing the high inflation in price for the location. Pecos, TX is a stop gap at best. There is nothing in this town to cause the rates to be high except a money hungry manager. Food service anywhere in town is non existent and unavailable for any decent dining. The breakfast at the hotel was below par at best. Tasteless, cold and small variety.

Room was not as clean nor up to date as it should be. Don't drop anything because you don't want to know what's behind the nightstand, under the bed or sink. 18k points/night is ridiculous - I've never stayed in any LQ at such a high price and such a low quality.

Decided pretty last minute to take a trip to see my husband and so our kids could see their dad. He works in the area and we are far east. After a 71/2 hour drive with 3 children, we were wiped and ready to get checked in and relax. We were greeted with goody bags for the kids and while we were getting all checked in, one of the ladies turned on cartoons for my kids to keep them occupied for me. Checked in and the room was great. Everything was clean and just as expected. Breakfast was great! Hot items were eggs, sausage or bacon, hashbrowns or burritos and then Texas shaped waffles! Seriously loved those waffles. And the woman who managed the breakfast area even made the waffles for us! I forgot her name but she seriously made our day soooo much better and helped me so much with my 3 children. I really cant say enough about the hotel. It was a great stay and my children really enjoyed it. We always stay at a laquinta when we travel because they are dedicated to customer service. This is another great property. **Side note, only small complaint was the chlorine smell downstairs was a bit much. The hot tub seemed to be the culprit as it was way too strong for me to even be in. But at least you know its clean :) And Its an oilfield hotel so it does have that smell as well but its something were used to so it doesn't bother me either* Still a really clean hotel given mostly oilfield workers as guests. That says a lot about the place :)

My son and I stayed at your hotel this weekend and really enjoyed it. Enjoyed swimming, the golf putting green and a great walking path. Breakfast offered a good variety of food and we were able to get a great night sleep. Would recommend this as a great spot for families.

Hotel is fresh and clean and the entire staff is great. Malinda at the front desk goes above and beyond for the customers and I really appreciate how she stepped right in to help me. Clean rooms, nice daily breakfast and always smiling staff! James S.
