Breakfast was poor. Air conditioning was not very cool

One of the worst hotels ever. Filthy, dangerous. Unbelievably not maintained.hotel is being used for prostitution. Due to that fact extremely noisy and very nasty

Room smelled humid and did not look too clean. Bathroom was very small and beds weren't too comfortable.

My travel reservations changed due to Hurricane Irma, and I was forced into a smoking room, despite being adamant about staying in a non smoking room. I'm a grown man; I'm messy, but to have stains on the couch, the computer chair, the bed itself, the sheets and the towels; that's completely unacceptable. The staff told me "We can't replace the chair or the carpet. It has stains, yeah, but the room is decent enough. The maid can change the sheets tomorrow." They outright refused to change the sheets when we arrived, at approximately 11:30 AM, not PM, AM. I stayed five nights, and literally checked for bed bugs every single night. I took every precaution afterwards to ensure didn't have any travelers in my bags. It was a head ache. I will quiet literally sleep in a hostel before dealing with another Howard Johnson. I never got an apology. I had to purchase new sheets and left them in a ball in the corner. The maid came on the third day, and stole my sheets. I also never got those sheets back; they were dark blue; obviously not apart of the Howard Johnson, despite the fact I had been requesting my room to be cleaned since first glance. I asked the manager, "based on my experiences, why would I ever come back to a Howard Johnson?" He told me, and I quote: "I don't know and I don't care. Buh Bye." I was shocked. Five nights, in this place. Every night there were people hanging out on the balcony asking if I had any spare change. Never again.

It was perfect for us. We felt safe and comfortable

The hotel is older, but for the price it was nice.

Comfortable, clean, friendly staff, centrally located, adequate breakfast and plenty of food. Easy check in and checkout. Pool was clean and well maintained. The parking lot was very well lighted.

It was not a bad place. Despite other reviews, I saw no roaches. Room was clean. I was a little unhappy that they try to scalp you another dollar a day to use the safe in your room. Shower was decent. Bed was decent. Not great, but much better then some. The biggest thing about this place, and it is not a fault of the hotel, is the idiots hollering outside my door in the middle of the night. I was considering going out and slapping them around. But the hotel is ok. Would I go again? I will probably spend more money, get out of town where it is not so busy. But if I had to that would be ok.

It was rundown and it smelled like they sprayed chemicals to make it smell clean. It shouldn't smell like chlorine when you walk into a room.

When I first arrived I was provided a room that smelled heavily of bleach, the bed comforter on a cigarette burn and the furniture along the wall was dusty. Also the bed was position at a slant which would have been an uncomfortable night of sleep. At the time that this matter was brought to the manager's attention she dealt with the matter in a way that was not understanding or welcoming. However I was giving another room which was better then the last which I attempted to make the best of. In the middle of the night a random man came to my door looking for a working girl to find out he had the wrong room. A working girl is someone who gets paid in exchange for sex. Not to long after I had received a knock on my room door I received a call from the same man stating that things didn't work out with the girl and if I was interested in meeting with him. There was a lot of other activity taking place along side the disturbances in which was obvious due to the amount of movement and police attention.

Let me start with this that if you are someone who want luxury and plan to spend his vacation at the hotel this is not the right place for you. But, if you are looking for great priced place to shower and sleep before you hit the road or the beach and you prefer to spend your money for entertainment or just for yourself this is the right place to be. Staff was very polite and friendly. The hotel have decent amenities including outdoor pool, free WiFi, free continental breakfast and free parking. Beds and pillows are very comfortable and the AC is working fine. Plenty of stores and restaurants around.

Room was filled with cockroaches, I never complain but there were more bugs and cockroaches running around this room than any hotel should ever let anyone allowed in really really bad I do not recommend this place dangerously infected with insects bugs and cockroaches I wanted my money back immediately and they did not give it back

Front desk assistant was rude, my room had dead bugs on the floor as if they don't come clean their rooms.

Unfortunately, like most hotels we stayed at in Florida within this price range, the room smelled of mildew. This hotel was older too.

The room was great clean and comfortable. I booked to room weeks before for the one night after staying that night I wanted to stay for the rest of the weekend although the office staff would not give it to me for the same price. I work in a customer service and to make a customer happy and return to your location I would have given it to them at the same price. Because of this I will not refer or return to this hotel. I am a Wyndham rewards customer also I travel all the time due to my Job and the Howard Johnson will not be a place I stay anywhere again.

Had a late night arrival, so wanted to stay clise to airport. King size bed comfy, continental breakfast was okay. Would not stay more than one night if on vacation.

Awful dirty room the refrigerator was broken the air conditioning leaked with left the carpet all wet the bathroom was dirty

smelly room worn rugs, broken bathroom fan reserved wake up call never happened softdrink machine broken etc, etc, cant recommend

The stuff like microwave and mini fridge is a little bit out dated but they still work only thing I didn't like was YOU CANT BRING YOUR FREE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST INTO YOUR ROOM but other then that everything was alright
