We had a wonderful stay at this cozy two-bedroom cottage on the lake. The home was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our getaway. The patio offered a beautiful, view of the water, and while we didn’t use the firepit, we loved spending time sitting by the lake enjoying the peace and quiet. The property is in a great location with two dining options within walking distance. The nearby supper club was especially amazing and definitely worth trying if you stay here. Overall, a relaxing and serene place to stay—I’d happily return!

Perfect respite from days on the road! Spent two quiet days here enjoying the lake and nearby Madison. Kitchen is fully loaded. House was clean and cute as a bug! We will be back!

Nice, clean house. The refrigerator/freezer stopped working and Dawn and her husband had it changed out in 1 1/2 hours. Great service and very much appreciated.

Adorable Lake Cottage

I stayed here while I was attending a continuing education class; it was a perfect, cozy little retreat to help me unwind in the evenings. Communication with the host was great, and the little extras like access to lake gear were a nice touch! I loved sitting down on the pier and catching the live music from the nearby Sunset Bar. It was incredibly peaceful and exactly what I needed after a long day in class.

Great hosts, quiet cottage getaway

Dawn was a great host, communicated everything in advance, answered our questions timely, and everything was exactly as represented on VRBO about the property. We were a little concerned about 5 of us staying there from the pictures, but there was plenty of room to accomodate us all. Everything was very clean, and worked as intended. Check-in/out were at reasonable times, and location was convenient to get to eating establishments or the grocery store in town. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay here if in the area. Gave 4* for location only because the lake was quite choppy and is very shallow.

Darn, the electric went out (but fixed the next day)

The place is cute and cozy. I loved the bed it was so comfortable, They even let me have a early check in. Unfortunately I was blowing drying my hair and the electric went out. They were quick to respond to my text and we tried to flip breakers, she even had an electrician come out. But it was a Electric comp problem so I chose to get a hotel. She even offered to let me get ready for my event at her house lol. I didnt want to leave the airbnb ... . But things happen.....(it was fixed in the morning) BTW I would stay again.....

Sunshine and Relaxation

A great place to get away from the rat race. Life moved as slow as the water we floated on. Clean, cozy and convenient - we couldn't ask for a better cottage by the lake. Great for swimming!

Cozy Extended Weekend

This well-furnished, two bedroom gem fit our needs perfectly as we participated in the WI Special Olympics Summer Games at UW-Whitewater. We enjoyed the cozy feel of the home with its great lake vibes. It was an easy walk to the lake to launch my kayak. Enjoyed the patio with the lake view and even grilled out one night. We also made the short walk to Sunset Bar and Grill for tasty flatbread and live music. Our host, Dawn was easy to reach and we appreciated how she periodically checked in to ensure all was well.
