A recommendation -- Provide elevator usage instructions in advance of stay. We figured it out eventually, but it took awhile.One problem -- There was no grill at the house as advertised. I called the problem in at 9:00 A.M. the first morning of our stay. A grill was delivered by noon, so a very good response.

Family trip

Loved the house and location. Quick responses to couple minor issues. Seating in family room could be better. Sofas are deep so hard for shorter people to be comfortable. But we’d love to come back. Great vacation!

Thanksgiving

Nice place buy very very noisy. The bedrooms are on 2nd level and den is on top. You can hear every single footstep that people make in the den and kitchen. Hard to sleep while other people are up. The porch had structural damage on the floor and was very weak. We had to block it so nobody would fall through. Also, the washer did not work and the dishwasher trays had wheels missing and would fall out when you open the door. We would not stay here again.

3 Families in Folly

3 Siblings,3 Different States met in Folly Beach for our mothers 82 Birthday! Longest she's spent with her children all together in years. Our Sanctuary was the perfect house with a great support team at Dunes Properties. Lacey and The Vacations Team were great with any needs or questions we had! Our Sanctuary Folly Beach Family Reunion

“Our Sanctuary” was rented as part of a family reunion. The property was very nice, on the beach, with ample room for large gatherings. We had 9 people most of the week and hosted a group of 30+ early in our stay that turned out terrific. The beach house was central to many of the 30 acting as a base where beach chairs, etc. could be conveniently stored for daily use. The beach house did require attention as the A/C on the bedroom floor was not functioning and could not be repaired during our stay. Dunes Properties did provide multiple window A/C units which provided some relief. When fully operational “Our Sanctuary “ can provide a first class vacation experience.

Great stay at the beach!

What a great beach house! Very well appointed for a family traveling with young children. We definitely appreciated all of the kids toys, clean bathtubs, and outdoor showers. Great beachfront location on a quiet section of the beach, but still accessible to the town strip. Love the staircase bunk beds! Looking forward to staying here in the future!

Perfect Folly Beach Vacation

Our stay could not have been better. Location was just close enough to the action, and just far enough to feel like you have space and privacy. We will definitely consider returning to this property!

Short on luxury but big on views

This is a tough review bc the home has a great location and the ocean views are wonderful. The house is , however, very dated and cluttered. It needs a new couch and more comfortable places to sit. The house is “lived in” , tired, and looks like it was decorated by via a hodgepodge of yard sales. Many of the bedrooms have no place to unpack your clothes or sit. The furniture is old and uncomfortable. The bedding needs a total overhaul and would be below par at a cheap hotel. The pillows in particular where astonishingly old and gross. The kitchen was well stocked and the showers were pretty nice. Those were the interior highlights. If you rent this place , bring your own pillows and beach chairs. I wouldn’t rent this again in it’s current condition.

Well maintained, well stocked, excellent location...

Our stay was above expectations. We felt like we were at home and literally felt like we were staying in our own home. Everything we needed was stocked and available at our finger tips. Already planning a return to Folly for our next spring vacation...

WonderfulThanksgiving Family Gathering

There were 11 of us who gathered for a family Thanksgiving. My husband and myself and then 2 of our married children and their children and then 2 of our unmarried children. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our group comfortably. The kitchen was also well stocked to prepare food for this special occasion. There were plenty of pots and pans, a potato peeler and masher etc. I We also enjoyed all the different decks
