We enjoyed a memorable Christmas vacation at Folly Beach. Dianne’s Beach House was just what we wanted and the entire stay exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect and there was plenty of room for my two adult children and two dogs. The house is charming and bright. The beds, linens and kitchen and baths were clean and comfortable. All appliances worked as they should. Every morning we sat on the porch, enjoyed the view of the expansive beach.The weather was warm and bright and every day we took long walks. Dianne what’s a perfect host that was very responsive and cordial when we communicated. We would definitely want to come back and stay here again!

This is not a house but a home with character including some original hard wood floors. It is both well and uniquely appointed! The location is a dream. Gorgeous morning sunrises over the ocean, daily dolphins at play! Folly Beach is neat place with friendly folks. We hope to return next year!

beach perfection

spent a week here with a friend and we both absolutely loved the house and enjoyed every minute of our stay. the house is clean, comfortable, spacious, charming, and exactly as described - it really does have pretty much everything you need. one thing to note that’s not listed in the description is that the owners have an “A/C policy,” which prohibits renters from lowering the house temperature below 72 in the summer months. our stay was during spring, but had we been staying in summer, this would have been a dealbreaker for us. obviously this is a matter of personal preference, but it’s one that people tend to have strong feelings about. it would be a good idea to state it up front so folks aren’t surprised upon arrival.

Folly Beach Gem

We absolutely loved the quaint cottage beach vibe of this beach house. I am from NC and have been coming to Folly Beach for years. I’ve stayed at numerous types of properties on the island. We wanted something cozy with our two kids that had beach front access. My kids loved the decorative sinks in their bathroom and their rooms. There is so much charm with all of the built ins throughout the house. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we needed for a week. My husband is a fabulous cook and we like enjoying meals in a lot with two younger kids and the kitchen was fully stocked. I loved that the laundry was upstairs and easily accessible. My kids loved the direct access of the beach and enjoyed seashell finding and exploring through the day. I highly recommend this for an intimate family vacation that has instant access to restaurants, markets, and shops! We rented a golf cart to use to drive around the island from the house and the whole family loved it! We’ll be back!

Perfect location

House was very clean, manager was very responsive when we had a small issue with the washing machine. The house was built in the 1930s and we appreciated the historic charm. Parking is easy, house is very private. Deck is very nice with a gate so your dogs can be outside, but kept off the beach.

Wonderful Location!

The location was just as described. Very remote, very quiet, have your own access to the beach. Literally see the beach from the living room. Beds were comfortable and all appliances were in working condition. The view is amazing!Can hear the ocean from your bed at night.

Nice quiet spot at the on a dead end street with privacy and exquisite ocean views.

I always look at Cleanliness first because I think it tells a lot about the rest of the property. This house was no acceptation. Super-clean, bright, perfect location, great layout and as really as about private as you can get on Folly. Excellent trip.

Beautiful beach house

Perfect place for a small family. We loved this house. It was clean, lots of sun in the beach facing rooms, and a great deck to watch sunrise, surf, and kids boarding or swimming in the ocean. We hope to return!

Perfect Beach Getaway

This house is one of the best small beach houses we have ever rented at Folly. Everything was absolutely perfect. The kitchen well stocked, comfortable bedrooms, cozy den. We loved the views of the ocean from porch. The original artwork was stunning! There was nothing we disliked about this adorable cottage.

This is a fantastic location and beautiful home! We enjoyed our stay here. It was very easy to communicate with the host, Mike. We also took a Sun set cruise on his boat. Will definitely visit again.

Incredible beach week

Folly Beach Fantastic Beach House

We were in town for the annual Cooper River Bridge Run....and really enjoyed our stay in this very cool Beach House, very well equipped, comfortable beds and beautiful sunrises. Host was quick to get back to us and great to work with. Would definitely stay again!
