Beautiful home that had everything we needed for our group of 10 plus our dog! The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was an easy walk to the beach and town. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool or hanging out together on the large front porch. Hope to return!

Perfect for grownup kids, parents and grandparents!

We love Folly and have been coming for multi-generational family vacations for several years. The Prickly Pear was perfect for tips year’s stay. The shared large open living space and kitchen were ideal - everyone had space of their own, but we could all be together at the same time. Lovely! The location is fabulous! We loved being on a quiet street, but just a quick golf cart ride or a short walk to the beach or town. This was the first time we’ve had a pool, and I don’t think we’ll be staying without a pool again! Now that our kids are adults, it was great to be able to “do our own thing,” spending the day at the beach or out and about, and then have everyone gather at the pool in the late afternoons to reconnect and plan the evening together. All in all, the Prickly Pear could not have been better for our family beach week. We’ll be back for sure!

Great location

We had a wonderful time! Walked to church, brunch, lunch, dinner, ice cream, and shopping during our week. So close to everything. There is a straight shot foot path to the beach that you can sort of see on google maps. Not a bad walk at all, even with going a bit farther to the right to get away from the crowds near the pier. House has plenty of parking. Awesome pool (bring bug spray for mosquitos). Beds very comfy. Kitchen well-stocked (just need more forks). Would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay!

The house was great - perfectly situated to access downtown and the beach. We used the pool and hot tub everyday and loved all the different sitting areas. Perfect beach house for a large group! The check in process was super seamless and the host was responsive. The only downside is that you have to bring your own toiletries, beach towels and beach gear. This was advertised ahead of time in the house description but it would have been great to have those items available in the house to save on packing.

Fantastic place

Perfect location as we had stayed on Indian before. The house was beautiful with plenty of room, access to everything. We had a week of perfect fall weather and were happy to be back in Charleston. With the couple of questions we had the property management folks were super responsive.

Loved the private master with en suite upstairs. Only one bath on main floor was a bit of a struggle for the rest of our family tho. Pull out couch didn’t open which left us short a bed.

March Visit

We had a nice time at this property. The property management folks were amazing. They answered questions when we had them and helped us when we had a heating issue. The house met our needs very well and we enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and take an easy ride into Charleston.

Great location if you don't mind Palmetto bugs

It was our first visit to Folley Beach. Management co. was responsive and addressed our maintenance issues promptly. We were not aware of the Palmetto bug issue. We found live and dead Palmetto bugs (aka roaches). Pest control visited on a few occasions during our stay. Hoping we didn't bring any home. Convenient walk to beach and town. House would have been great except for bug issue.
