Warm welcome from staff. Hotel dated. Beds creaky and need to be replaced. We had family room and woke each other up all night due to beds creaking when moving. The hotel was excellent, especially considering the very reasonable price we paid. Although an old building, it was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. We also had a room with a sea view, and the hotel was 2 minutes walk from the lovely promenade. The lady that checked us in was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also very convenient for the Channel Tunnel. Highly recommend.

One of the best things about Folkestone is how peaceful the seafront is, because there are no cars racing along it. The Westward Ho is in a dream position, with stunning sea views, calm and quiet surroundings, and gorgeous walks along the undercliff into central Folkestone and the harbour. Our room was good, though the shower and the sashcord windows were a bit ropey and needed a bit of attention.
