Excellent breakfast buffet, friendly and helpful staff, especially Phillipa at the front desk. The hotel is on a cliff overlooking the ocean, and a short walk into the high street area. Unfortunately they were remodeling some areas so we only had one elevator. I stayed on the fourth floor and had a great view of the coastline and the city. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean and modern. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was pleasant both from outside and inside. It was obvious that it had recently been refurbished. The staff were courteous but a little brusque at times. Although they were very busy they did not make you feel welcome, except for one very young lady who was most pleasant and helpful. She was on duty for breakfast at our first morning. Breakfast was good value for money. We were disappointed that the bathroom flooded on both days and we had to mop the water up with towels. The receptionist that we reported this situation to each morning was very apologetic. May we also suggest that a handle in the shower would be useful for those with disabilities.

A nice building in a great position Very easy to use as a base to explore Folkestone. We had 2 rooms one huge and one tiny which was bit of a squeeze Facilities were good and clean, beds comfortable, though it was very hot at night The breakfast was good, though the coffee really needs to be improved

A nice hotel with a great restaurant spoilt by a few details. Very small old lift which was difficult for older parents, the shower was blocked so flooded the room below and a fire alarm went off around midnight. Staff were apologetic but made no real offer to make up for the problems
