This is not a "Hostel" it feels more like a "Hotel". The location is perfect, just 10 minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station. The rooms are very big, modern and clean. The check in and check out is very simple and the staff are very kind and helpful in recommending restaurants and things to do in Florence. The owner of this hotel is the same owner for the restaurant 'Il Mercato Centrale" which is so gooodddd and tastyyy. Be sure to go there to eat. A++++
The hostel is great, the place is amazing but the common room closes at 10pm, thr bar closes also early like at 12:30/1am and they dont let you stay at the reception. There are two security guys that are not the nicest people in the world.. the guys at the bar are so nice tho, is just sad that they need to close early. The only bad thing of the hostel is that there is not a kitchen so they only have microwaves, i did my pasta in those lol, but it would be nice to have a bigger kitchen.. anyways this hostel is super recommendable and its full of great travelers, there were at least 40 argentinians lol
I would say this is more than a hotel than a hostel. We stayed here for a few nights while staying in Florence. Me and my wife had our own private room. They have a pool and nice lounge. Very nice and great bargain
Only downside was the noise. Other than that, fabulous facilities. The cleanest and most modern hostel I've ever been at.
The hostel was a great value and was clean. The staff and breakfast was good too.
We wanted to see Florence and the famous leaning tower of Pisa. This hostel is accessible to the beautiful parts of the city. We just walked around until our feet gave up! The hostel is clean and seems to be popular because there were many people who checked in that afternoon. There were three of us, all adults. Our room was like a small room in a school dorm with a double deck bed and two single beds! We expected better beds but we were so tired to complain!! Anyway it was just for one night!
If you are young and looking for a place to stay in Florence with a decent price, this is a great hostel. They have a small pool and a bar. Decent rooms. Bed was not comfortable, but that is to be expected at a hostel. The staff was pretty nice. We had a good stay here.
No elevator and steep narrow stairs and hallways, Internet only in selected areas (like posted on internet), the remote control did not work and the TV did not had signal, the refrigerator almost works (jajaja), the bathroom floor was dirty and the bathroom in general looked very used, I had to fix the shower because 2/3 of the holes were completely blocked by calcification and the other third barely had water coming out of them, the air conditioner was set to 24 º C but felt like 26 and only they have the remote control, one light bulb was broken, etc. In general it looked like 20 years ago it might have deserved the 3 stars, but they have not maintained it well ever since, so many things are old, broken, obsolete, and badly done (Like everything I saw in the Naples area).
I loved the room and location was almost perfect. I didnt get a chance to enjoy the amenities or bar there but if you are young and travelling this is the place to stay. Internet is not strong signal in rooms was my only issue.
Better than hotels we stayed in in Paris and Nice, France. Clean, friendly, spacious and with helpful staff. Rooftop bar/lounge with amazing view of sunset, moonrise and Duomo! Walking distance to all tourist must-see areas, if you are fit to walk (otherwise, buses, etc. close-by). Will return if we are lucky to visit Florence again.
This was the best hostel I have stayed at. They offer so many things, and are very kind and accomadating. Very clean, great breakfast, free wifi, free AC, short walking distance to everything in Florence, including the train station...
The quality of Plus Florence is more of a hotel than a hostel. I booked a private room with two friends and we ended up getting a huge room with a small kitchen and our own private bathroom! The hostel also had an information desk that was helpful when finding out what to do in Florence. Highly recommended!
