Fairly comfortable for sleeping. Other good points include a washing machine and drying rack, air conditioning, and good WiFi.
The person sleeping in the front room said that people were loudly talking while going up and down the stairs in the middle of the night, keeping him awake.
More care could be taken by the owners to make the property usable for guests. For example, there are many wall switches but none are labeled. Some seem to do nothing. When we first arrived we tried to turn on the lights and were admonished by a neighbor that the wall switch was unlocking the building entry door downstairs. That should be labeled!
Although the app for waste disposal access asked me the dates of my stay, when we left and tried to open the app, it said our access period had expired. So, we couldn’t take out the trash. Besides, there were no indications of where the nearest bins were, and we didn’t see any.
The shower in the master bathroom had no hand soap, and the shower doors do not shut well so the room was full of water after showering.
About an hour before check-out time, I brought some coffee back to the room and someone followed me in without any warning to leave off a bag of supplies or towels for room cleaning. No one should barge in unannounced while guests are still there.
This could be an excellent location for visitors to Florence, but it is a mixed bag as it is offered right now.
