Good location, close to the city center, clean rooms, Wi-Fi, however no air conditioning and plenty of mosquitos.
In the heat of the hot summer, it is NOT possible to stay here without air-conditioning or opening the windows. Only two small tables fans provided, one in each bedroom, one of the fans made a lot noise when oscillating. We tried opening the windows on the first night to let cool air in as it was not possible to sleep, I had over 35 mosquito bites on my legs and arms by the third night. The last night we slept with the windows closed, it was too warm and stuffy and we barely slept. On the first night I requested for an extra fan because there were 4 of us but I was told there isn't any extra fan available. We ended up not using the kitchen because the apartment was too warm - by 8am every morning the sun was already heating up the windows which meant we didn't not open it to prevent very hot air from coming in as we were all sweating. Another thing that I noticed is was that there was sewage smell coming from the bathroom and middle court yard.
Before I made the booking on Expedia I had filtered the search with air-conditioning however this place was included in my search and I didn't notice this until we were in Italy and it was too late to cancel. We had 3 lovely nights in Bologna and booked the last 4 nights in Florence. Just a very unpleasant 4 nights stay overall due to no sleep and especially mosquitos bites.
No, I will not be staying here again.
