great breakfast ,all day free snack ,very nice staff spc. dario he gave us all informations to see and bus to ride ,this is great place to stay highly recommends very clean room ,allmost new everything from towels to bed
Residenza Fiorentina was superior in nearly all respects. The manager and staff were excellent. I usually stay in "American Style" hotels which sacrafices charm for comfort but this hotel has both. Clean, safe and extremely friendly. Numerous coffee opptions (American and Italian) which are available 24 hrs a day. Only negative was the wireless speed but again, who comes to Florence to get on the internet?
Convenient access to the train station, about a 5 minute walk. We had a large room for 4 which was 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very nice. Staff was helpful and provided maps of the area. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Only issue was that the air conditioning was not on, but they rectified it the next day. The breakfast room was open 24 hours and provided snacks in the evenings. We would definitely stay again.
Residenza Fiorentina was a very close walk from the train station even with all of our bags. Very secure location with a old elevator and very friendly staff who helped carry our bags up the remaining stairs to our room. The room was clean and large with a nice view of a court yard, it also had a mini fridge and a large bathroom and coffee maker. The bed was conformable and we did not hear any noise from the roads below or neighbouring rooms. The location was great to check out all the historic sites near by. I would stay here again!
The location is very good. And the service was nice too. People were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very nice. The rooms on the other hand needs some renovation and some decoration. They lack any personality.
While it did have a central location. The breakfast was actually pretty good, BUT, the single pane windows and the main road from town was way too noisy to get any sleep. Every time you would drift off, a motorcycle would scream past at all hours of the night. One night, sounded like a roving band of soccer fans were celebrating their team's victory with their version of a fight song. I won't stay here again.
My husband and I spent 3 nights here for our 3rd anniversary trip after leaving Rome. This hotel was a pleasant surprise, as it was much nicer than our "4 star" hotel in Rome. We got the superior room here. I liked the layout despite the many stairs to get to our room and the old school elevator was a cool addition. The staff was very friendly . There was a gentleman who helped us out throughout our stay. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was pretty good. They even have a happy hour which we kept missing but it seemed like it would be fun. This hotel is located in the city and all of the fun restaurants that we went to were in walking distance. We had taken a train from Rome to Florence and were able to walk to the hotel from the train station which was awesome.
My trip got off to a great start when I contacted the staff at hotel via email and I was replied straightaway back from Dario who I could tell was warm and friendly and answered my question satisfactorily. On arrival I met him and he was equally warm and friendly. The hotel was of a lovely design. Well located for the train/bus station and centrally for the sights. My room/bathroom were clean and tidy. One of the facilities in the breakfast room was hot tea/coffee/water. Including pastries, biscuits etc for guests to help themselves. All the reception staff were welcoming, informative and very nice. The cook and 2 members of breakfast/cleaning staff especially the female from Somalian were helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Florence was a lovely 3night stay for new years break and I would returned the same hotel!!!
This is a small hotel located in a palazzo. The rooms are simple, but comfortable. The breakfast room is impressive, and the staff are always ready to oblige with special requests. Both the main sites and the train station are about a ten minute walk away. It is very secure, as you have to be buzzed in. Aside from the beautiful breakfast room, public space is small.
Nice hotel. Convenient to the train station and all the sights. Hotel is a couple of floors up but has an elevator.Nice breakfast. Clean attractive rooms. Nice restaurants in the area. Friendly employees.
