If u want peace and quiet amidst the hustle and bustle of Florence then The Regency is for u. A true boutique hotel Very well positioned but just far enough of the main tourist drag to be secluded Garden is lovely ( though mosquitoes think so too in height of the summer ) but super setting for breakfast and quiet drinks Staff are attentive and knowledgeable Service is impeccable Rooms are roomy and comfortable Bathrooms huge with super amenities Only thing lacking ( and maybe this is an English thing ) are tea/coffee making facilities in the room and at a fiver a throw the drinks are expensive even though served with love ( and a biscuit ) Food is surprisingly good value Just ten minutes walk to cathedral and Ponte Vecchio and main shopping. Two minutes to synagogue I have to say I hesitated before writing the review as wanted to keep the venue a secret They have a sister hotel in Rome which looks just as nice

A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Florence. The service, breakfast and diner is very good. The valet parking is outstanding. The bathroom we had was very outdated and we hope that renovation is planned. When we return to Florence we will certainly come back.

My husband and I came to Florence from Rome and were truly delighted by the quiet location of the hotel. We truly felt welcome when we arrived and got to enjoy a drink in the garden. The staff was VERY helpful and went above and beyond to help us when we had a scheduling issue with our Tuscany Tour. The breakfast was really delicious and the staff kept the breakfast room spotless! The hotel was just beautiful! It was very clean and lovely. I really can't say enough positives about this hotel for our first stay in Florence. When we return we will definitely look to staying here again! Our room was absolutely wonderful, great air conditioning, comfortable bed, and a beautiful and spacious bathroom! It's also within walking distance to everything you want to see in Florence! Wonderful stay!!

The hotel is really old! Old systems.. we have to hand the key room to the reception when we leave the hotel. Nothing like 5 star.. more of a 2 star hotel I would say.. When we booked the rooms the lady told us the rooms are spacious. When we arrived, we found the rooms are so tiny. Nothing but the bed. There isn't even a mirror in the room. The air conditioners weren't working. It was so hot. The curtain covers the vent of the Air-conditioner so whatever little air was not reaching us. We called the reception they said they can't do anything about it so we had to sleep in hot weather that night The toilet really smells. When we opened the water in the sink, we would hear a bubbling sound coming out from the bidet. It's really disgusting! The bed was also itchy. There are cracks everywhere in the bedroom and the bathroom. We checked out next morning but they refused to refund us back the rest of the stay's money. It's a total rip-off! Saeed Alnooh

Loved the location. Historically it used to be the British Embassy when Florence was the capital of Italy so the area is very nice. Quiet, with a short 10 minute walk to all of the major sights. Nice thing is that it is quiet and away from the crowds/tourists. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very nice with a good selection to choose from. We stayed in a suite, #21 and it was fabulous! Room is huge with a beautiful bathroom. Loved it! Wifi can be weak at times, but we have found that that is the case throughout most of the hotels in Italy. We liked it so well that we would stay here again. 👍👍😊

So delighted we choose this hotel in Florence . It is about an 30 minutes walk to the main monuments - you feel you are out of the frenzy of visitors . Gorgeous garden - amazing breakfast just perfect for a visit - take the Junior suite

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel! Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom. Everything was very clean, and you can tell there was a lot of attention to detail. My husband and I looked forward to breakfast every morning out in the garden because of how peaceful the atmosphere is, and how friendly the staff was. The next time we are in florence we will definitely be back to the Hotel Regency!

Particularly gorgeous room - had been modernised - very Florence through. Immaculate attention to details. Spotless. Fab huge bathroom. Staff were particularly friendly and completely helpful when required. Quiet at night. Bijou little courtyard for breakfast, coffee and drinks. Delighted. Would recommend and would return. (Fabio - terrific!)

This hotel is a little gem located in a quiet are overlooking a lovely park. We arrived exhausted from overseas with two young (6 and 8 year old) children and the suite room (room 205) was amazing for us - two rooms, 2 bathrooms huge space to unpack rest and refresh. The small terrace overlooking the park is gorgeous. Fabio was fabulous help recommending shoe shops and the best gelato shops for our short stay. We walked everywhere from the hotel in the height of summer. Thank you hotel regency our one night stay felt like a much longer holiday!

We loved this boutique hotel. I do not have a bad word to say about it. A little out of the main tourist area but the staff were absolutely wonderful. They genuinely cared about your comfort and quality of time spent there. Fabulous food in the courtyard any time of day. Friendly staff with clean lovely rooms made this a wonderful stay in Florence!
