The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel was very close to the city center but not noisy at all. The people at the desk were super nice and friendly, especially Riccardo, who suggested me a couple of very good Tuscan restaurants, and the lady in charge of breakfast, who was always smiling and cheerful also very early in the morning, I really appreciate it!

We stayed 4 nights in November 2017. The hotel is good value for money: good enough room, great location and nice breakfast (better than in many places we've visited in Italy). Friendly staff and overall a pleasant stay.

Hotel close to all. Good breakfast and staff Need renovation for the rooms and the main entrance. Open the breakfast around 6:00 am to late at 7:30am Rooms are big. Great space WiFi low. Excellent restaurants recommendation from hotel lobby

Needed a good value hotel, in a good location for a weekend break to Florence. Having searched around, many hotels like a large proportion of Northern Italian hotels seemed quite dated. this one looked slightly different and had good reviews. We upgraded to a slightly bigger room, which was a good size, and the bathroom was nice, big and modern with a rain shower. Styling had clearly been updated to move with the times and is better than many, however still slightly behind - however must stress for the value the rooms are excellent. Free Breakfast was fantastic, great service with the cappuccino's every morning, and a good selection of Italian pastries and cakes, fruit, salami's cheese bread, cereal and eggs. A good start to the day! The location is great, a few minutes walk away from the Duomo, and 15 mins to the river and train station, excellent location. Staff very accommodating, rooms cleaned every day. And big mention to Riccardo for taking the time when we arrived to point out what to do and see in the time we had in Florence, how long and how to get to all the places. And most important, where to eat and where not to eat! his recommendations were excellent, a restaurant round the next street called mangiafuoco bracerie was fantastic, small but great food and not expensive. It is great value - with a slight upgrade to the rooms and the lift and it would be 5/5 - but we were very impressed and would recommend.

Close to shopping, dining, and museums. Extremely helpful staff, Sabrina made an extra effort each day to see to our needs. Wonderful hotel that made us feel at home. Staff recommendations were appreciated. We especially enjoyed the Central Market and Academia Museums, both within two or three blocks from the hotel. Baci Baci !!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice room and good location. Good choice of food for breakfast. To find the reception is to the left of the museum entrance and up the stairs. The hotel is in an old building and has been converted well to maintain its character

We had a wonderful stay here in October 2017. It was very convenient to the top tour sites and we enjoyed the hospitality given to us by the staff. We will gladly stay with this hotel again. The walk to the Duomo as well as to our walking tours and restaurants was very tourist friendly. Florence was a great walking city and of course, you don't want to miss Michelangelo's David, which is a short walk from the hotel.

We found the hotel perfect for our visit to Florence. The position couldn't be more central for all the main attractions. Good rooms, and great breakfasts. With complimentary tea, coffee (good coffee) and pastries available every afternoon. Sabina and her staff were so friendly and helpful and advised us on places to visit and how to get there. Nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

This hotel has a great location! It is close to all the major sights in the city, and only a 10 minute walk from the train station Santa Maria Novella. The beds were really comfortable, and we did not have any problems with noise from the street or other guests. Our room (for 3 people) had an ok size. It was enough for us to store our luggage, yet it still felt spacious. The shower in the bathroom was a bit old, but everything was very neat and clean, which is also the most important thing for us. The beds were VERY comfortable, and the breakfast was good. One of the best things with this hotel is most definitely the staff. Very friendly people - from everyone at the reception, to those making the breakfast and coffee, and even the cleaners. Everyone was very helpful! They helped us to reserve tickets for some of the galleries, book a taxi for our departure, reserve a table at a restaurant and give us lots of good recommendations for nice places to eat. We really enjoyed our stay in Florence, and at the Hotel Colomba. Definitely recommend this!

Professional service, clean room and the hotel has a lot of facilities and is perfect situated close to downtown. A special thanks to Sabina and Luna, they helped us a lot with all our trip reservations.
