Beautiful Hotel in Florence, very comfortable room and bathroom, very clean, spacious, smells great. Very nice buffet breakfast.Out of the historical center but is very easy to catch a city bus or taxi also have a parking space. We will be back with my family, I truly recommend it.☺
This is a very nice Hilton Garden Inn. I’m used to the ones in the USA. Let me tell you... you just can’t compare. It’s a wealth of difference. Very stylish hotel and great rooms. Wooden floor, nice bed and huge bathroom. Reception is very warm and kind. The restaurant offers great food. Pitty we were there alone and had to move table because the air conditioning was on (in autumn) and straight on top of used. Really not needed but ok. After few minutes we were used to it. I wish this hotel were a bit closer to Florence main center as it would offer more options to go out for dinner. Now you need to take taxi... which is still fine and explains my 4 star rating.
I really liked to location of this hotel since it is quite easy to reach by car (sufficient parking opportunities) and also offers connections to the city's public transportation system. The rooms are clean and functional although they have shown signs of wear on some spots. The staff was friendly and charming giving it their best to make your stay as convenient as possible. Only thing that could improve is the breakfast where I experienced a slow service and an offer that could be expended. All in all I would recommend the Hilton Garden Inn to anybody visiting Florence.
Only reason to go is location service is poor, rooms are noisy. Staff at the front desk are apathetic, misleading or asleep. Food is acceptable but not impressive. Same is true for atmosphere. 10 minute cab ride ( no shuttle) OK.
Large comfortable accommodations near the airport and easy access to downtown. Restaurant food was excellent! Staff was very helpful and accommodating and hotel was very modern with all the amenities.
Arriving at night I was a little taken back by the difficulty of locating the hotel, due to the construction in the surrounding area. When morning came and I opened the curtains to reveal an amazing view of the mountains and the newness of the surrounding area ... what a treat! Amazing view and a nice clean hotel room, nice breakfast and convenient location to the historical city center. I highly recommend this hotel. When the tram construction is completed this hotel will be perfect for visiting Florence.
We stayed four nights at the HGI Novoli in Florence, italy and had a wonderful time. Every hotel staff member we met was very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The dining (breakfast and dinner) was good with a variety of selections at a reasonable price. Would stay here again!
We stayed here for three nights and used it as a base for visiting Florence. Not a good plan as it is a ways into the city but it is not hard to get a bus either. We chose this one to use Hilton-honors points. Checkin was mostly fine except we were given the opposite of most of our requests. My husband always requests a high floor far from the elevator and we were given floor 1 across from the elevator. We did request a balcony which we had to pay cash for(again strange) so maybe that is why, we don’t know. The hotel did not appear to be full. The room was very small but modern, well kept and very clean. The bathroom was tiny. The bed was comfortable. My only complaint with the room is no iron. If you want to use an iron you have to go down to the basement laundry and use it or wait if another guest is using it, iron you clothes and come back up. This is really inconvenient and cheap of the hotel, I think. There is a glitch with Apple products and it was a big deal to hook up to internet with my iPad. My husbands Samsung had no problem. I had to go to the lobby and get help and it was something you cannot do on your own, some weird address you must type in. So not the greatest start to this hotel. The staff were all nice but it was just a different experience all together that any Hilton we have stayed in. The hallways could use refreshing but lobby and other public areas were nice, and so was the dining no area. The breakfast was very good, a large buffet with many choices and a little espresso maker which was great. All in we didn’t hate this place but felt they were not so nice to us as honors members. The best thing about it is it is within walking distance to what has been voted the best pizza in Italy. It is a little tucked in place called Giotto. You need a reservation to get in this little place, so delicious. There is a large Co-op grocery store a block away inside a small mall a block away. All in I would stay here again if I were in the area but not for visiting Florence, and with slightly lowered expectations.
Ideal in terms of value for money, quite district, just 10 minutes away on car and 30 minutes by foot from train station, which is almost the city center. A big shopping mall right in the corner, another big food market at another corner, 2 minutes walk from public transport stop.
We had a twin room, the beds, bedding and pillows were very comfortable. We slept well. The bathroom was well appointed with lots of towels and products. There was a safe in the room and a fridge. There was a laundry on the garage floor with a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. Very convenient and everything was in excellent working order. We ate breakfast (included) in the hotel and there was nice choice on the buffet. We also ate dinner in the dining room one evening and the dinner was well prepared and delicious. Biggest drawback was that it is a bit far from the main areas of Florence.
