I stayed in the scooter/industrial room. Nice room, clean, good shower, decent bed, tv (can access netflix and youtube), fridge and safe. Communal area has good coffee machine, fruit, biscuits. Hotel was close to the SM train station (easy walk) and a short walk to main tourist area/attractions. I think the tram from the airport passes the hotel and there's a stop nearby . Owner made herself available for an early check-in. Only (minor) downside is that my room faced outside onto the road so you could hear the tram/road during the day but the tram shuts about 11pm so not that big an issue.

Loved the close location to the Florence train station and historic area. The property host had an excellent map, and suggestions for eating options, groceries and laundry facilities nearby in every room. Very nice outdoor area and shared kitchen stocked with juice, yogurt and fruit and limited packaged baking items. The room had a nice sized mini fridge, and a safe.

The B&B was charming and had a lovely breakfast/common area where there was tea, coffee, and snacks available. The rooms were comfortable and each had a unique, different decor. Elena and Viola were both very helpful and kind. They offered useful information about what to see and how to get around Florence. The tram line is right outside the Frimi B&B and was only 1.7 Euros to travel all the way to the airport. The location was convienent to everything we wanted to do. As in all central locations, you can hear street noise but we just put on a white noise app and slept very well.

We loved our time at Frimi. Viola and Elena made us feel at home, and the room, kitchen and gardens were beautiful! It was in a convenient location in this very walkable city, and I could not imagine staying anywhere else. I will be recommending this property to anyone I know who is travelling to Florence!

Fabulous

What a wonderful find. Viola was so friendly and helpful, and communication throughout was excellent, even before we even arrived. We chose a room that overlooked the garden. It was spacious and quiet. The room was beautifully decorated, with unique attention to detail, as was the rest of the B&B. The large bed was very comfortable, the shower powerful and everywhere very clean. We had our own fridge and access to a shared kitchen. Complimentary fruit and biscuits along with coffee and a selection of teas and juices were provided which was a bonus. Viola kindly provided many recommendations which were helpful. We booked a reservation at Vini e Vecchi Sapori which didn’t disappoint. The location was the perfect location for exploring everywhere. Lots of restaurants and some interesting, less touristy places to see. 7 mins from the station and 20 minutes walk to the Duomo and centre of Florence. Equally, a 30 minute walk takes you across the river, areas worth visiting. Of course there is public transport on your doorstep which is very easy to use as Florence now uses contactless. We would highly recommend and will definitely book here again should we visit Florence in the future.

Viola the host is hey well of information. She is truly warm caring and engaged in what she does she is what a host is supposed to be My wife and I found that she went over and above what she had to do and excellence was the only option for her we truly loved our time with her The room was the most creative place ever The room we stayed in was the Johnny and June room and I'm going to not give away the answer to what you may think it is but you have to experience as all I could say is there is a 1950s motorcycle that's actually in the room we truly loved our experience with baola the room was immaculate the and creative and she went way above and beyond our expectations

Beautiful stay close to the historic center

Frimi is a beautiful property just 2 tram stops away from the historic center. Viola has given the place a character which is at once unique, stylish and very much like her - elegant, welcoming and friendly.

Lovely stay!

Host Viola was lovely, showed us around on arrival, beautiful home and the room was lovely. We were in the vintage room, and it was our favourite stay so far in Italy. Handily by the train station, and easy to walk to most of the places in Florence. A full stocked kitchen for snacks and coffees too, 24/7. Viola provided a number of suggestions of things to see and places to eat, with some discounts and was on hand via WhatsApp to help with any query. Definitely returning there on our next trip to Florence. Air con was great.

Sleepless in Florence

Bohemian room doesn’t just have a city view it is right on the street level which means the paper thin walls convey all of the noise, wasn’t able to sleep at all which is the point of booking a room. If I wanted to stay awake all night, my family and I would have slept on the street. There is a streetcar that runs frequently which sounds like a spaceship every time it passes. It’s impossible to ignore unless you’re dunk. Other than that, the room was clean and modern, however the single bed is on a creaky and weak frame. It’s clearly meant only for a child.

The close proximity to the train station and the city centre made commuting by foot extremely easy, while still being quiet. The room and its adjoining private bathroom were clean and spacious; we also appreciated the complementary wine and snacks. If we were ever to return to Florence, we would stay at this place again.
