Booked the hotel on the train to Florence around noon. Told them I’d like to check in between two and three. Arrived and had no instruction where to go or what to do. Walked down to the address on the email. A locked door and nobody around. Finally got in touch with someone who said they were busy and a different person would check us in. A few minutes later received a whats app saying the person would be checking me in and would be there at 345. At 5 pm. Someone finally showed up. Me and my family had been sitting outside for almost three hours. Was charged another 80 bucks for cleaning and tax.

Stay away from this place. It didn't have any reviews when we booked so it was a gamble. Entering the building, terrible sewer stench in the hall, which seeps into the unit. Unit was not very clean, dirty floor, mold on shower door. Units is located on the ground floor, right next to the building entrance and to the street, its impossible to sleep, cars/motorcycles looks like are inside the unit. People passing by talking loud, drunks screaming all night, there's no proper soundproofing. Heavy building front door banging at every person entering the building and elevator noises all around. Bed mattresses are like canoes, uncomfortable. The only positives are location proximity to interest points and the good shower.

L’appartamento è dotato di una sola finestra che dà sulla zona notte. La cucina e gli altri vani sono organizzati in modo da essere comunicanti con la camera e il bagno ha la ventola. Tuttavia, il poco ricircolo d’aria rendono l’alloggio un po’ umido. Aiuta l’attivazione del condizionatore. L’alloggio è al piano terra, ma nonostante ciò di notte non si sentono troppi rumori, giusto lo spazzamento al mattino. Si riesce quindi a riposare. All’arrivo abbiamo avuto un problema con le chiavi: l’apertura della porta è risultata essere difficoltosa. Né io né il gentilissimo ragazzo che mi ha consegnato le chiavi siamo riusciti ad aprire il portone di ingresso. Successivamente, contattata l’assistenza, mi è stato inviato un video esplicativo sulla modalità di utilizzo della chiave. Dopo averlo visionato sono riuscita sempre ad aprire, nonostante il sistema un po’ bizzarro. Il punto di forza è sicuramente la posizione vicinissima al centro. A neanche 5 min a piedi da Piazza della Signoria.
