We had a lovely stay at Across the River. The apartment is located in a less touristy neighbourhood but still close to the centre, with many nice restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was clean and fully furnished with everything you may need. It has the old Italian charm, but has been renovated recently including a more modern bathroom. The communication was excellent, with a pleasant reception from the host. Would highly recommend, also for a longer stay!

We are a family of three. The location is across the river, as the name says. Most of the big time tourist attractions (Duomo, etc) are on the other side of the Arno River. From the apartment it takes about 5 to 15 minutes to walk to the other side of the river. It depends on which bridge one takes. Ponte Vecchio is always a good choice. The apartment is in a more residential area Very quiet at night. There are a lot of very interesting places to see right by the apartment. Great location, close to everything, less touristy. The apartment has a kitchen. We didn’t cook. We only made coffee. Everything was clean, and organized. When we arrived Cesare gave us a great intro, and explained the ‘lay of the land.’ Preparing for our stay Matias supported us online, and was always available. We used WhatsApp. We can really recommend Across the River.

Thank you Mateas and Cesar for staying so late to check us in when our flight was delayed by over 5 hours. It was an anxious time for us during a horrible journey. You kept in communication with us and reassured us throughout our journey. Cesar was waiting at the door for us when we finally arrived and went through the check in efficiently as we were exhausted. The appartment is clean, warm and comfortable, with everything needed for the stay. The area is really convenient for Florence's attractions and has nearby local supermarkets and eateries. The local buses are just around the corner.
