Solo travelers 8/10 experience . Had a great stay at the resort .I felt VERY safe the entire time on the resort . Pros: rooms were very cleaned and spacious , coffee shop with a variety of options to choose from , right on the beach , the secluded vibes and all staff members were very friends . The restaurant: Hunter and Caribbean as Amazing( the Italian restaurant was completed booked out which was fine ). Life guard was on site which to me provided additional security as a person who could not swim- big ups to EJ ;) Cons: breakfast buffet can be improved . I was very disappointed in the options offered. Lunch options made up for this nevertheless. There were a total of 3 reserved restaurants on file , you could only book one online due to the system being down- there was a person taking reservation and she was very accessible to the resort. Recommend to try and book ( recommend booking restaurant to have a great dinner with family friends). Will definitely be back.

I had a great trip. The beach was beautiful and the resort was clean. That being said, most of the negative reviews online are true, they just didn’t impact my trip. Honest opinion the resort was ok, I didn’t pay much so it was a ok value. There was not enough restaurants choices as the main restaurant were not available day of and needed a day or two advanced booking. The buffet has been the worst I have ever eaten at, tiny and almost no options. Breakfast was exactly the same every day. Lunch option was food truck basics to avoid the buffet. Dinner steakhouse and Italian were great, no complaints for these restaurants. The staff are nice. The rooms were nice and clean. The bars and restaurants run out of things constantly, beer, soda and this morning no bottled water at the bar. They eventually stock up but it’s annoying. There was absolutely nothing to do at the resort but go to the beach or pool bar. Underwhelmed by Antigua in general. Water was nice but not clear for snorkeling. Shirley Heights was nice, but you don’t need long there so add it to an excursion. Avoid walking down the beach toward Sandals! The sand fleas are insane, I have never seen such a thing. They resort had good vibes but so boring. They should partner with Royalton Antigua for reciprocity as a sister property to have more choices for food and activity.

The staff was super helpful and hospitality 10/10 very friendly and very welcoming when we got there Cold face towels and a drink upon arrival . 100 /100
