Staff lovely, caring. It was really good and fun experience. Kids enjoyed swimming pool, food and kids club. Close to airport Fantastic dance show on Wednesday and Friday. Good live music in the evening. S

Good Points. The hotel is lovely, The rooms are huge and right on the beach. The staff are super friendly and seem genuinely happy to see you. The Deli, great Coffee and Pancakes for $5AUD The Neutral points. Quite Isolated, but we thought it would be, some people might consider this a good point. the Bad points. We had a lot of Geckos (to be expected), but we had to pick up there poo 2 or 3 times a day. Not very nice. Not clean, the room wasn't clean at all. We had to kill a huge spider (not an issue) with a hand towel, which I wrapped and threw on the balcony. The next day the towel was back on the rack and the dead spider was on the floor! We had a lot of Geckos (to be expected), but we had to pick up there poo 2 or 3 times a day. The room was also a bit dirty, towels didn't get changed every day (see above) and the floor could do with a good clean. Also constantly forgot to replace toiletries. Also the Bure we had was actually one bure split into 2. it was still huge, but this meant we could hear every word our neighbours said. They kept us awake quite a lot. I understand people are free to chose how they spend their holidays, but we wants to rest and relax, something we couldn't do here as our room mattes were up late and got up early. There were an awful lot of children here. do not expect to have a nice swim in the pool or dip in the Jacuzzi as you are likely to get dive bombed by a child. A lot of noise too. Even when you are sitting down to dinner at night the kids are still in the pool shouting and screaming. Again I understand that the kids are having fun, I just want to say if you are a couple looking for a quite relaxing time, this is not the place to go. The food was also quite limited. there is a buffet restaurant and a beach restaurant.. We waited about an hour for a seat at the beach restaurants. There were tables, just no seats lol. Some drinks are expensive, (cocktails around $20 AUD.) Beer is cheap thought (about $5 AUD for a midi. Not enough sun loungers. Had days when we couldn't get a lounger. so couldn't enjoy the sun and had to sit in bar area. So in summary, Nice Staff, Poor food, Dirty hotel and Noisy avoid if you have no kids and want a nice quite holiday. Vinaka.

good location staff extremely good had a nice lesiure holiday would reccmomend good sea food good buggy service to room children friendly good destination for family planning another visit hope near future

Double Tree was the perfect choice for a relaxing getaway. A short cab ride and then 3 minute shuttle boat to a beautifully presented resort. Such friendly staff! You're greeted with "Welcome Home" when you arrive and that's exactly how you feel, at home. We had an ocean view from our very comfortable room. Perfect for couples, families and groups. We'll be back!

The Hotel Charged us for 4-5 star hotel under the name of Hilton but the it wasnt even a hotel ! More like a motel to us! I found a cockroach on my towel! And a spider on my tooth paste! The whole resort was too old and no light in the Resort Area! We only stayed 1 night although i booked the hotel 2 months ago for 8 night. And at the end when we asked to refund our money and go they offerd us real Hilton, but with $1100!! Which was insane! So we bailed it and got Westin Reservation approved . They didn't even apologize! Not even a " sorry " word! No make up! And they charged us for extra night! Such a poor and Rude management

We stayed at double tree once before, 10 days prior to this stay and we had booked an ordinary room on the second floor. This time we booked a larger room, a bure. We were very happy with almost everything the first time we stayed here so we were actually looking forward to come back a second time but the happiness didn't last long. The front desk staff was rude to me one early morning when I approached him about my card not working when I tried to open the gym door. We ordered two dishes and a couple of drinks with room service and they couldn't even deliver everything at the same time and everything got mixed up. The ac didn't work and neither did the sinks. We talked to the front desk that same morning and they apologized. They fixed the ac and the sinks right away. The manager offered us pizza as compensation. I must say that was a bit too cheap. Every time we've had an issue with any other hotel they have always overcompensated for their mistakes, which is what you would expect. We've stayed at more than 1000 hotels during our travels and we know what it takes for the management to actually make an effort. We will be back (we have to) for one more night in a week and we are hoping for a better experience. The food is ok, not enough healthy and/or vegetarian options. The kids menu is not healthy at all. The pool is nice and the black beach could be nicer if it wasn't for all the trash that washes up on shore. They have a gym which is good and the breakfast buffet is good too. The staff at the restaurants and housekeeping are helpful and they do a great job.

If you don't want crowds and want a stunning resort with super friendly staff where nothing is too much this is the place for you. We stayed here for 8 days and loved it. It was so relaxing, the room was great. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The room was cleaned twice a day and the room staff made special effort for both my wife's and son birthday. There is free paddle boards and kayaks with life jackets on the beach plus you can hire a small catamaran and jet skis if you want some more adventure. The pool area has a good number of sun loungers but people seem to hog them by leaving towels on them then go off for hours. But there are lots of them and hammocks and swing seats throughout the whole resort if you miss out. The food is of good quality and breakfast buffet is stunning with great choice and variety. If I had to find a negative it could only be the evening menu does lack a bit but if you ask they will make you something else. Again the staff in the restaurant are fantastic. They learned my sons name from the first night and greeted him by it everyday. The service might not be quick but they care and really put 100% effort to make sure you enjoy your stay. I have stayed in Hilton resort before but this is the best presented and the best staffed resort I have ever been too. From the man in charge of the boat you get across to the Island on to the gardener everyone of them will greet you with a smile and "Bula". It is only 30 minutes by taxi from Nadi and the hotels taxis are now the same price as the dodgier ones in Nadi. Plus you can get the hotel mini for $8 at 10:30am. They also have a great kids club with caring staff and fun activities for kids of all ages. If we need a break away from the world again we will be back.

We just returned from a lovely stay in Fiji at the Doubletree. The hotel grounds and Oceanfront Bure were very nice and overall very relaxing. It is a good cab ride away from the marina ($55 FJD), so when you need to take a tour or want to visit other islands, seek out additional restaurants, or shop, you will need to make arrangements to get to the marina. I highly recommend exploring the other islands since snorkeling and the beach are just too beautiful to miss in Fiji. The beach/ocean property around the Doubletree is not as inviting as the outer islands. We found the 2 restaurants on site were very good and the breakfast buffet outstanding. We loved our meal on the beach with the sun setting and the local fish was prepared perfectly. A wonderful end to our day. The only disappointment was the drinks. Just not as good as the Hawaii Hiltons and the Mai Tais not as tasty! Good news is we saved a lot on drinks! The property was full the week we were there, but you would never know! It still had an intimate feel as you walked throughout the property or relaxed in a beach recliner. Bula Doubletree. We enjoyed our stay and meeting your staff. The people of Fiji are lovely!

Our family stayed in double tree for three nights. The room was very clean. All the facilities were new and in good quality. All the rooms have seaview and balconies. The boat is running 24hours to transfer guests to and from the main island. It was our first time to Fiji. The friendly staff made us feel welcomed. We did enjoy the fire dance at Friday night.

We had a wonderful time at the DoubleTree Resort. The staff are all amazing, friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and our beach front bure did not disappoint. Our kids loved playing table tennis and pool and also took part in the pool volleyball and beach volleyball. My wife enjoyed a massage on the beach which she loved. Overall we had a great time.
