They have lovely private Bures, really spacious, private, beautiful bures along the beach. Some might find them too far from the restaurant but im sure they would pick you up in the buggy if you phone reception. Personally we found the dinner menu unexceptable. We had trouble finding anything that sounded good, when we did order the nasi gorang was like a rice risotto, wasnt nice at all. Very expensive. We asked if we could order off the snack menu BUT No that menu closed at 6pm, hmm . Breakfast, can be purchased at a reduced rate if you purchase it for the entire stay, as we were leaving at 5.30am on our second morning we would have missed out on a paid breakfast and they wouldnt bend on this so we chose not to have the breakfast and just had cereal we brought with us and the fruit we had purchased on the way from a road side stall, papaya was amazing !!! Be aware check in time is 3pm and not a minute before. So if your coming in and arrive earlier be prepared to have your swimming gear in your day bag and enjoy the pool. We loved the place, its really pretty. We had a beach front bure, but i think the ones just inbehind us with a lovely garden were nicer. Lovely little shop selling Fiji pure at really good price. Its a lovely resort for a main land resort. Quite quirky how you catch a little boat over from the main land to the resort. takes about 5mins and goes back and forth 24hours. Its a good boat too and im a nervous person around water and this was super easy. They deal with your luggage, so yeah really cool, bit of fun. We walked to the relax resort next day for late lunch early dinner, had a lovely swim in their pool and had a fab indian meal, great friendly people running this resort and the food rocked !!! I rate the Sonasali as a really nice place to spend a couple of nights, but the outer Islands are for us :0)

Hotel was tired and air con did not work properly. The hotel grounds are pretty but yeh location is a pain, not near any shops and food on site is very expensive and not that tasteful. Rooms clean. Issues with taxi firm, you cannot order your own, feel like a prisoner on an island! And they can then charge what they wish!

Fantastic stay at the Doubletree, the staff are warm and welcomiing. The food was of a very high quality and reasonably priced. The beachfront bures are great. I love the choice of activities available, it will keep you busy if you want, or the pool and swim up bar are great!

This property is just excellent with our beach front bure we could not fault.. The staff where the most friendliest people you would ever meet. We feel in love with our waitress in the restaurant Gina and the lovely staff.. They excel in service, for my birthday they gave me such a lovely night. I do think they need a few extra staff for busy dinner nights. Anyone looking for a nice quiet retreat and get spoilt this is it. Cheers Leisa

After some very mixed reviews I was very hesitant to stay at this property. But I’m soo glad I did!!! Firstly Doubletree is located roughly 25 mins from the airport (depending on traffic and the route taken) On arrival there is a short 1 minute boat ride across the river to the hotel. There is a short walk through the beautiful gardens to reception. We stayed here on our first night and on our final night in Fiji. Both times were great experiences. The staff remembered us and were so happy to help. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Value for money at this resort! Now.. I remember being very nervous about the food as there are so many negative comments. Breakfast was free and it was amazing!!! I could do with a Doubletree breakfast right about now :) From pancakes and donuts to fried eggs, fried rice and vegetables. It was a winner for our group. We also had dinner which was delicious. I was expecting it to arrive cold and on Fiji time based on reviews. But everything was perfection. Staff are so beautiful :) My flower was falling out of my ear and a beautiful restaurant employee took the time to tell me and help me. Every time we asked the boys in the carts for a ride, they let us jump in and even took us for a tour. Small gestures go a long way for me. The beautiful hearts of the people of Fiji is something truly special. I will remember this I will definitely return here to experience this again. For those worried about the water. Yes it’s not crystal clear but you won’t get clear blue at Denarau either. It is still beautiful and value for money is incredible. Thank you to everyone at DoubleTree. I wish I wrote down all your names so I could personally write in about you. I will see you all soon ❤️ Vinaka ❤️

excellent location and welcoming staff with kids activity within pool and made the entire holiday fun. the food is great and well priced unlike some other resorts who charge extreme amounts. Highly recommend Double tree

me and my boyfriend came here for our first time in fiji and totally disappointed with the service, f&b totally overpriced for standard, went to the main resturant for dinner and after a hour wait he was served a cold fish burger after eating half realised it was completely RAW told the staff immediately and was barely apologised too and still had to pay for the food, for duration of the stay we didnt go back in honest fear of the food being not up to health & safety standard so lucky he didnt get food poisoning, with that being said waitstaff are absolutely horrendous and most dont even understand english enough and are SO SLOW took us 30 mins just to be served water and asked for advice at the front desk about other forms of transport to and from island other then their expensive taxi service and they told us that thats the only way and wouldnt give us any helpful tips about exploring fiji that didnt involve spending money on there goods/services totally not cool and the fact ive read so many reviews about the same issues makes me even more angry that this has happened to others, the only reason this is even getting 1 star is the location is beautiful and the rooms are great but can easily get that at other resorts around fiji.

Good resort with friendly staff, we stayed for 2 nights, beachfront premium room, very comfortable and roomy. Worth paying the extra price. Welcoming/friendly staff in general. The pool is great for kids and adults alike but if resort is full it could be a bit crowded. Restaurants could do with a bigger variety of food. Seemed to be heavily leaning towards pizza which is fine but if staying for a week or more could get a bit sick of it.

We have spend some 7 nights at Double tree by Hilton near Nadi Fiji. We would never spend any day in Fiji or Hilton any more. No European debit or credit cards are working, I speak about Visa Electron Gold. Nobody could explain why. No regular mineral water as complement, every day. The all Inclusive is a dream. You would never think that Hilton all inclusive means simple burgers for lunch or some - in fact one type of salad- Cesar salad with old leaves of spinach, and a choice between 3 dishes during dinner. No free drinks, except during happy hour between 5-6 p.m. and one should investigate where that happy hour appear. It is a "large cooling box"'with some bottles of beer and some white wine. Only breakfast pretends to be some type of continental breakfast. The ones beautiful garden is left to the drought, shame on the hotel /resort management. Really no management of the ocean beach. The staff are smiling friendly, but the waiters are nightmare. For that stupid burger, you should wait for 20 minutes at least. So we have never thought that junk food could be part of the Hilton gourmet tradition and principles. I would never recomend anybody to travel half of the world to receive such treatment by Hilton.

For the price you pay for the room, food, drinks, activities, everything, this resort does not meet expectations. We were not given a very good introduction when checking in so had to find our own way (we did get taken to our room though). The only thing we were told is where the restaurant was that served breakfast. There is only 1 bar at the property which is the pool bar, and there are only 5 seats out of the water. Discovered there were 2 restaurants, 1 which served us salt & pepper calamari that had no salt or pepper and was stone cold. We didn't end up being charged for it, but the staff weren't very apologetic either. Drinks were always very slow to arrive across the resort, sometimes entree even arrived first. Tried to book in for various activities (once we found out where to book, as this wasn't shown to us & wasn't in an obvious place) but everything was booked out days in advance or only ran at limited days/times, so not great when you are only there for a couple of nights. When told we couldn't book in, nothing else was suggested either so we didn't actually get to do anything whilst staying there. Room was nice and clean, with a lovely balcony that had ocean views (stayed in a garden/ocean view bure). Fans made a high pitched noise so we couldn't have them on at all. Overall, not worth the money.
