We had a great one night stay in a beautiful room. Everything in the room and bathroom (i.e.plumbing and electrical) worked correctly! While in most places this would go without saying, we have found this is uncharacteristic of this type of property during our one month stay in Morocco. We were there with a large group (20 ish), and they did a great job accommodating a variety of special food requests. Everyone was served more or less simultaneously for the three meals we ate their, which was surprising considering how tiny their kitchen was. They even arranged for traditional live Moroccan music for our dinner. Everyone was attentive and they did a great job. Beautiful place.
I stayed one night at Dar Sara as it was conveniently located regarding a professional appointment, it's a very nice place, nice staff, affordable, I had lunch there and it was good, overall it's a good place to stay, a stone throw from Batha square so very easy to experience the Medina from Riad Sara, I would consider going back.
I had an awesome experience organizing and hosting a group of 20+ at Riad Sara. The riad is absolutely stunning & the beds amazingly comfortable. It was a perfect and luxurious visit after our great experience in the desert. The dinner was the best food I have had in Morocco! We loved the experience. Thank you Said...you are awesome!
If you want to actually live in a Moroccan palace, this is the place. I could not stop looking at every decorative tile, and plaster work. The place was like living in a real palace. The room truly deluxe as well with original light fixtures, a lovely roof top deck and the common area was a miracle of preservation. The hotel itself is located within easy walking distance to the Blue gate and many interesting places. We had dinner, which was very nice, and breakfast is included. I can't say enough after seeing the real palaces of Morroco, this place was just like living there!
Hidden in a Fez lane way, you could easily miss this peaceful refuge from the hustle and bustle of Fes. An amazing, authentic riad in the heart of town. A destination of its own. Clean and comfortable, with a wonderful quiet. Staff are warm and helpful, and the restaurant was well priced against the local restaurants. We chose to eat hear to get away from the hectic street vibe for the night and were very happy with the food.
Riad Sara is absolute stunning!! We stayed for two nights as part of a tour and loved it. The rooms were clean, comfortable and beautiful. The courtyard was fantastic - like something out of a royal palace. The food was delicious and Ali made us feel right at home. I would recommend this riad to anyone.
You walk in through a door and there it is, a beautiful hidden treasure where immediately you think, what a great choice. We dined in that night and the food, service and surroundings were magical. Our rooms well appointed and spacious everything for a great night's stay. For us it was but 1 night, but it was perfect. Thank you..
We stay at Riad Sara just 2 nights, but if we'll go back to Fes this place will be our first choice! Everything was just perfect, from the check in till the day of check out.. Our room, the breakfast, the staff always helpful and friendly..and the dinner simply amazing!! Thanks for the remarkable stay!!
to walk into this riad from the narrow dark passageways of the medina is an amazing experience. The undistinguished facade gives no indication of the glorious mosaic and plasterwork and the soaring openness of the courtyard contained within. Our suite, on the second floor, was spacious and very comfortable. It was very clean, though Moroccan plumbing is a little sketchy, which we found to be true almost across the board during our trip. Breakfasts were ample and delicious, served up with great humour and flair by the hospitable Ali, while our one dinner here was possibly my favourite meal during the entire trip. All the staff were welcoming and helpful, including the manager Said. Very conveniently situated on the outskirts of the medina, close to taxis, and a quick trip to the supermarket for wine or beer , which was easily chilled in the fridge in our suite (nice bonus which was not an option in other places we stayed save one). I highly recommend this riad if you're planning a stop in Fes!
This riad was the most beautiful place we stayed in our 13 day tour of Morocco. It was amazing and beautiful. We had a huge room and a huge bathroom. Breakfast we great, we didn't have dinner here, but it looked good from what we saw from other guests. I recommend this place to everyone!
