Hidden in a Fez lane way, you could easily miss this peaceful refuge from the hustle and bustle of Fes. An amazing, authentic riad in the heart of town. A destination of its own. Clean and comfortable, with a wonderful quiet. Staff are warm and helpful, and the restaurant was well priced against the local restaurants. We chose to eat hear to get away from the hectic street vibe for the night and were very happy with the food.

Riad Sara is absolute stunning!! We stayed for two nights as part of a tour and loved it. The rooms were clean, comfortable and beautiful. The courtyard was fantastic - like something out of a royal palace. The food was delicious and Ali made us feel right at home. I would recommend this riad to anyone.

You walk in through a door and there it is, a beautiful hidden treasure where immediately you think, what a great choice. We dined in that night and the food, service and surroundings were magical. Our rooms well appointed and spacious everything for a great night's stay. For us it was but 1 night, but it was perfect. Thank you..

We stay at Riad Sara just 2 nights, but if we'll go back to Fes this place will be our first choice! Everything was just perfect, from the check in till the day of check out.. Our room, the breakfast, the staff always helpful and friendly..and the dinner simply amazing!! Thanks for the remarkable stay!!

to walk into this riad from the narrow dark passageways of the medina is an amazing experience. The undistinguished facade gives no indication of the glorious mosaic and plasterwork and the soaring openness of the courtyard contained within. Our suite, on the second floor, was spacious and very comfortable. It was very clean, though Moroccan plumbing is a little sketchy, which we found to be true almost across the board during our trip. Breakfasts were ample and delicious, served up with great humour and flair by the hospitable Ali, while our one dinner here was possibly my favourite meal during the entire trip. All the staff were welcoming and helpful, including the manager Said. Very conveniently situated on the outskirts of the medina, close to taxis, and a quick trip to the supermarket for wine or beer , which was easily chilled in the fridge in our suite (nice bonus which was not an option in other places we stayed save one). I highly recommend this riad if you're planning a stop in Fes!

This riad was the most beautiful place we stayed in our 13 day tour of Morocco. It was amazing and beautiful. We had a huge room and a huge bathroom. Breakfast we great, we didn't have dinner here, but it looked good from what we saw from other guests. I recommend this place to everyone!

Beautiful riad in Fes, Morocco. Riad sara in Fes is a very pretty and beautiful riad. We stayed here for 4 nights in 3rd week of March 2017. The riad is just under 5 mins walk to the nearest water fountain square - Batha square and just under 10 mins to the famous Fes medina. You don't need to worry about taxis as the Petit taxi rank is just in the fountain square so you can get to any place easily even with the luggage. I recommend using the Petit taxi to go around, to the train station and to the Airport. They are cheap, efficient and plenty. If you order taxi from riad they arrange black private taxis and they are expensive. You don't need to worry about using Petit taxi, just use Petit. That's what we did. As our flight was night arrival and this is our first trip to Morocco, we booked taxi with this riad from the Airport. They were spot on and the driver was simply waiting though the flight was delayed. Once reached the riad, the host just saw us in front of the door and welcomed us, helped our luggage and shown our room. The host is very very friendly, just simply awesome and great place to stay here. The breakfast is plenty and the mint tea is amazing. The interior of the room and courtyard are just as it is shown on the photos. You don't need to worry, you will get satisfied with this. As we have planned our excursions outside of Fes and above, we didn't use their travel agent. However he helped us to see the famous fes medina. He gave us a map and shown us the points and factors. Location, host, breakfast, room, courtyard. The taxi rank is so close. Simply used petit taxi to reach Fes train station for Maknes, bus for chefchaoufen. Bathroom was tidy and clean but they can improve little further. This riad is just under 5 mins to nearest water fountain squre batha and under 10 mins to famous fes medina.

A Riad as I imagined it before coming to Morocco. Building is over 400 years old. It was tastefully restored 15 years ago. Ali and the rest of the staff are very attentive. Evening meal is only one choice, but meals 2 nights were very good quality. Bathroom clean but could be upgraded.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Ibrahim, Saeed and Ali were awesome! Beautiful, clean place and they even asked us what we wanted for breakfast. We were at Al-Makan before and found the people unfriendly there.

We stayed for two nights in this riad, in a double room. Rooms are very nice, spacey and clean, very warm (we visited in winter), very good customer service in general. Very good breakfast. Riad is close to the medina. Neighborhood seems a bit dodgy though. It's better to return to your room early.
