Upon arrival, we requested a mini fridge for my mother, who requires proper storage for her medications to maintain their effectiveness. To our disappointment, the hotel was unable to provide this basic and essential accommodation. Despite explaining the importance of this request due to medical reasons, the response we received from the staff was not only unhelpful but also unprofessional and rude. Their attitude was dismissive, and the service felt cheap and careless.
Given the seriousness of the situation and the lack of empathy and support from the hotel staff, we were left with no choice but to check out early and urgently find alternative accommodation at a nearby hotel that was able to meet our needs.
This experience was distressing, unacceptable, and not at all reflective of the standards one should expect from a reputed hotel chain. I will not be recommending Ibis Hotel to anyone in the future, and I hope this feedback prompts serious reflection and improvement in your customer service and medical accommodation policies.
